Oh, I really hate to leave a bad review for a family owned business but today, I will have to. My family and I were... anticipating a few days to try this highly rated restaurant in Maryland. The restaurant opens for a few days with a rating of4.8. We knew we wanted to try it. We stopped by for lunch to dine in. We were greeted by the chef in the kitchen ( I assume isthe husband) and the waitress (the wife) took us to the able and gave us the menu. The restaurant holds a few tables. We decidedto try one appetizer and two lunch meals. We ordered the fried tofu, a pad Thai, and a Chicken Thai noodle soup. We waitedabout 10-15 minutes. When the food arrived, the presentation was lacking a bit. We already were skeptical. The chicken Thai soupwas completely watered down and was probably flavored with chicken bouillon. When we tasted it, it was basically how I describedit ? watered down soup. FYI, my husband and I have been to Thailand and had amazing food and this was a let down ????. The padthai was way too salty and the flavor was missing the ?wok hay.? As for the tofu appetizer, it was bland and fried. The sweetand sour sauce tastes completely off. I hate to leave a bad review but I can?t seem to understand how a Thai person can mess upon her own food. I want to give it a one star but their service was good so I decide to give it two stars. I had no idea that Thai and Italian food would make both even better, but they do! The noodles, pasta, and bread is fresh and... hot. And you couldn't do better if you need to accommodate different tastes and diets. There are amazing vegetarian and glutenfree options, and their Sicilian pizza is the best I've ever had. It's also large enough for left overs or for several people.And their prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the food and ingredients. Can't recommend enough. I tookoff one star because their dining area is small, but I think they are moving to a new location. I'll definitely be visiting!Definitely get a cannoli. Read more
My wife and I planned a lunch date today and decided to give Thaitalian a try. Started off with the spring rolls which were... delicious. She got baked ziti and I ordered the green curry with pork. Both meals were fantastic. The green curry was perfectlyseasoned and just the right amount of heat. Finished the meal off with a wonderful homemade cannoli. One of the top two restaurants in Cambridge in my opinion, this place is amazing! The owners are an adorable couple, husband is... Italian and wife is Thai (hence the fusion), they both make DELICIOUS food, you can?t go wrong ordering anything on the menu. Mypersonal favorite is the massaman curry, it is one of the best dishes I?ve ever had, I never want it to end! And you must trythe thai tea with cream, it?s heavenly. Another amazing combo is any pizza with the singha beer, no pizza will compare after youtry this. Read more
Gotta say, recently moved to the area from north New Jersey and I have been looking for a place that would satisfy my "New York... Pizza standards" and wow have I been repeatedly blown away! The balance of flavors, the quality of the ingredients, and thefriendly service have been nothing but top knotch. Even had their 30" pizza and size does NOT compromise quality! This is a cool little diner if you're in the mood for Thai and your date is in the mood for Italian... There aren't many dishes... that are "fused," necessarily, but you could do a combo of both. We really enjoyed our experience and would come back if we'rein the area. Read more
