Super cute (and unexpected) Tiki Bar / restaurant on the water. Stopped by for a frozen drink and a snack after walking around... downtown and finding them on Google Maps and was pleasantly surprised. If I had been staying in town or had more time, I'd havecome back to the bar later too catch more "Tiki vibes." Read more
The price is average. However, the Crab Balls (6 for $19) had a lot of fillers an it was hard to taste the Crab in it. The Crab... balls were market which was fine. The Crab Dip in the bread bowl ($17) had so much cream cheese and onion in it I could tastethe Crab in it either. Read more
I was afraid to try this place after seeing some of the reviews, but my husband and I had a great lunch here. We had the conch... fritters, snapper sandwich, and crab roll. Everything was yummy. The crabmeat was so fresh. It's early in the season; I wasimpressed. I'm already looking forward to my next crab roll. The service was quick and friendly. We really liked our waitress.She was a pro--patient with our questions about the music schedule and didn't check in too much or too little. I expected a 3%charge for the credit card and an automatic 20% tip added, based on other reviews, but I didn't see that on our bill. Itwouldn't have bothered me anyway. Times have been tough in the service industry. I'm happy to support a cool place likethis. The atmosphere is really fun. I can't wait to come back and see live music at the tiki bar. We've been messing around on the upper Chesapeake Bay for the last six weeks, were in Cambridge, Maryland and decided to have... lunch at Snappers Waterfront Cafe. Snappers is on the west bank of Cambridge Creek, next door to the J.M. Clayton SeafoodCompany and practically in the middle of Cambridge 's working waterfront. In good weather the dinning room windows and theoutdoor deck have great views of the creek, crab and oyster boats coming and going, and the boat yard across the creek. Lunchwas very pleasant and very good: fresh seafood, a full bar with a bartender who knew her business and very cleanrestrooms. Next spring when we're back on the Bay, we'll be visiting Cambridge again. Read more
