Sadly my wife and I didn't have very many things to point out as a great experience. It was average to poor. It was my birthday... and my wife hear tons of good things about this restaurant and we arrived on a Wednesday 15 minutes before our reservation. Wewere told they couldn't seat us early nor that they had no waiting area anywhere in the restaurant so we went to the UptownLounge around the corner and had a "great" experience there. Went back and arrived at our reservation time, they seated us andwe ordered drinks and an appetizer and dinner. We waited and waited and waited and after 25 minutes we finally got ourappetizer and my margarita was delivered a few minutes after the appetizer and just when we're beginning to eat ourappetizer..dinner is served. So naturally by the time we finished our desert our dinner is now cold. I've lived here inVancouver for over 40 years and my wife believe this is the worse restaurant experience we've ever experienced here. Really sadand my wife felt horrible because she wanted to surprise me on my birthday. Our drinks were okay and the food was not what weexpected, bad. The only thing that was delicious was the appetizer; Roasted brussels sprouts. We may come back one more timeto see if maybe our first experience was a fluke. Read more

We had a great experience here. We ate outside during a dinner rush. The service was actually great. The staff is very friendly,... but it definitely seemed a bit hectic. Regardless, our food was spectacular. There was one issue with one of our entrees, but welet it slide since they were busy. I cannot take a star off because of it, because everything else was perfect, and the fooddefinitely made us want to come back again. They perform well, even during a hectic dinner rush. Used to love this restaurant but sincerely regret it’s gone down the Camas culinary hill. We don’t mind the small portions... to accompany the inflation but the quality is sad. No wheat beer, house wine was undrinkable, happy hour blackberry margaritawas quite bitter. The fajita had too much sweet tomato sauce I understand they try to twist the tomato into the traditionalfajita but it would’ve made the point if they didn’t thicken the tomato with sugar and starch. Only the chips salsa andguacamole still retain its legacy. When I asked the bartender why her margarita was so bitter, she just said that’s howit’s been. Almost suggested if she’s ever tried it but held my tongue. She said they used lime concentrate almost like thefreshly squeezed. I had a feeling it’s been oxidized a while before it gets to my glass. The service was good but the food was not. Chips hard my daughter Said they almost broke her teeth :( cheese dip on menu burnt... and tacos not hot. Didn't taste like authentic Mexican food. Our margaritas were good but we won't be back unfortunately :(really wanted to love this place since it's the only Mexican place in downtown but for the price the food needed to be better. Read more

We have eaten here before a number of times and for the most part have always had a good experience. Food and service has always... been very good. Tonight was different though. The hostess and waiter were both very nice and attentive. Our food came out fastand was delicious! However.. the whole reason we came in was for a drink. I ordered a whiskey sour which came out quickly. Itook a sip and for starters it was mediocre at best. Then I looked at the glass and realized it was dirty. Not like a littledirty, like black stuff I could wipe off with my finger dirty. I took it back to the bar and showed the bartender the glass. Shedidn't say much. No sorry or I'll make another. Just kinda acknowledged it and took the glass. I sat back down and the waiterbrought out another drink to replace the first. I took a sip, well no better than the first but ok. Then I looked at this glassand it was dirtier than the first one! Once I can accept as a mistake, all be it a nasty one. But twice in a row??Unacceptable. The waiter had the drink taken off the tab and the manager gave us a discount which I appreciated. But ultimatelyleft feeling really disappointed that I didn't get the drink I originally went in for. Thursday dinner, we arrived around 7PM, and we’re seated immediately. The staff was fantastic, friendly & helpful. We ordered... drinks & chips/dip, neither of which arrived in a timely manner. Evidently there was an issue in the bar, not a problem for usas we were in no hurry, just noting so others know of the potential. Food and drinks were fantastic. We will return! Read more

Pleasantly surprised at just how great Nuestra Mesa turned out to be. Went here ona whim and left happy and satisfied. Others... have commented on slow service, but that wasn't the case for us. Staff was available and helpful and took the time to go oversome of the menu options. Love the fact that it's located in downtown Camas as we spend a lot of time there. Again, food wasdelicious, hot, and prompt. Tacos were better than most in Vancouver. Drinks were brought to us soon after ordering and weretasty as well. Mixed reviews here, but perhaps Covid is the culprit on super busy days? Read more
