Seriously great deli and bakery. Moving to California I was worried that I wouldn't have access to some of my favorite foods... from back east. Boy was my worry completely unfounded. First let me start with the bagels. These are real bagels. Boiled inwater, and then baked. Just like back home. They're not the soft Panera or grocery store knockoff breads in a ring. They've gotgreat bite to them. Not too stiff, but just enough. Jalapeno cheddar bagels are unorthodox, but are stupidly good with somecream cheese. Imagine a gigantic jalapeno popper on a bagel. Pastrami Reuben. Oh boy. What a treat this thing is. Soft, smokey, rich, but not too heavy. Rye bread is fantastic buttered and toasted. Thousand island dressing had a touch of extra sweetnesswhich I loved. Can we talk about the pickle? A real fermented pickle. Not a cheap vinegar pickle but a real fermented kosherpickle. This was for me the touch that made it. Fries were solid. I really liked the coleslaw as well. French Toast. Made withthick sliced challah bread. Perfectly songey, but with a good bite. Custard was well made as well. Napoleon cake. I orderedtiramisu, but they were out of it so I tried this. What a fantastic thing this is. Layers of pastry cream (think stiff vanillapudding) and filo dough, topped with vanilla and chocolate. It was huge too. I have taken three whacks at eating it and stillhaven't finished! Overall I am extremely happy with the Old New York Deli & Bakery. They have earned my business as my newbagel place for sure. The staff was friendly and attentive, and aside from the TV's in the dining area I find the dining roomto be a nice place to eat. My wife and I will be back again and again and again. Read more

Stayed at the hotel in the same parking lot for 4 days. Went for dinner had the pastrami sandwich, it was okay. Went for... breakfast spent $40 on eggs, bacon and a bagel for 2 adults 1 kid. It was okay. Bought, 3 cheesecakes, 13 bagels and a small tubof cream cheese for $50. The cheesecakes weren't even okay. We threw out our $9.00 slices of cheesecake after three bite. I hadread a review that said they were way better than cheesecake factory. I personally love cheesecake factory. So, I was expectingsomething better than that. I had ordered a strawberry and oreo. They both tasted the same just with a cookie or strawberry ontop. They tasted like we were eating a block of sour cream cheese no sweetness them. Maybe that's how cheesecake is supposed totaste and I have been lied too by cheesecake factory. But, we were extremely disappointed. Over all this place is just okay. The bagels are good. But, that's about it. It's way over priced and overrated. Definitely would be better off at McDonald's inthe same parking lot for the same quality and less Read more

Delicious, very full menu. So many options to choose from and everything has always been fresh and yummy. They have dog-friendly... outdoor seating and offer gluten-free options on some things. You wait in line to order at the counter (I do wish their menuprint was easier to see from line). There service is always welcoming and they bring the food to you, even when busy. Read more

Walked here with my girlfriend on Saturday overcast morning. Place was semi busy and people were going in and out. First thing... we noticed was the huge selection of baked goods - bagels, cupcakes, eclairs, and much more. Pretty cool to see a lot of theselections displayed. Ordering was pretty quick and the cashier was nice enough to ask the bakers if the bagels have egg (gf hasegg allergy). We ordered a couple of bagels and some coffee - pretty good, we enjoyed both very much. While having our bagelbreakfast we sat down on a booth in front of the TV. We noticed the decor was was pretty awesome and felt cozy. Overall, it wasa pleasant experience and will definitely go back for a quick bite. Thank you! Read more

A total of 6 times is how often I've visit this deli and always been satisfied. Let me start with their wide variety menu, full... bar of sweets, bagels, pastries, fresh orange juice, great coffee and more I still need to explore. Today my girlfriend and Imet up for breakfast. This was the perfect spot to catch up. They have a cozy couch area to lounge by the t.v or sit in aregular booth or table. The vibe is welcoming. I ordered the French toast combo. It came with 2 eggs of choice, turkey sausageand French toast. The French toast and turkey sausage was a reason for me to return. Tasty! To drink I choose a fresh OJ. Mygirlfriend ordered a "create your own" omelette with potatoes, a side bagel & coffee. The omelette and potatoes is what was thetastiest. We chatted and enjoyed delicious food, great morning for us. There's semi table service, you walk in and order, find aseat and they bring out the food to your table. There's a table with condiments of your choice. The lobby is kept fairly clean, employees are wearing masks. There's outdoor seating for the furry ones. My overall experience was pretty awesome, enjoyablecompany, great ambiance, delicious food and kind employees. I'll definitely return. Read more
