Best restaurants in Camarillo. Great Italian food. About $35 a person plus tip, but for a special night, certainly worth it.

What a charming, intimate dining experience! Went there for date night with my hubby and really enjoyed it. The white... tablecloth, fresh flowers and candlelight created a romantic atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food delicious! Myhusband had the seafood special: orange roughy in a white wine, lemon and caper sauce. Of course I tasted it, and it was divine. I ordered the classic lasagna and was not disappointed. They have an extensive wine list to choose from. I ordered the housepinot noir and it was beautiful! Lucerne offers authentic Italian cuisine with daily specials. The choices are plenty, offering delicious food and an abundant... selection of wines. Surprising when you walk in the door, our first impression from the location was very average but once inside we were greeted... and seated quickly. It has a classy but cozy feel, well decorated, I love the white tablecloth against the black napkins andwaiters dressed in all black with black eyes and even matching black masks. I had a wonderful experience.The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, the food was delicious and the wine perfectly paired,... where a rare steak is rare and well done is well done. Do yourself the favor of ordering the bruschetta it will not disappoint,with hints of citrus like I've never had on bruschetta before, I can go on and on about my great experience but will leave it toyou to enjoy yourself.
