It was just okay! After a long road trip thru Big Sur I was super excited to see and to try infamous in and out burger. Being an... east coast gal with not many travels to the west coast, I had not ever seen an in and out burger in real life so I had to try it! The fries were terrible. They were hot and seemingly prepared correctly but they tasted like cardboard to me. The chocolatemilk shake I got I took two sips of before deciding it wasn?t worth the calories lol. I will however say the burger did notdisappoint, I actually went back for another burger when I tossed the fries and shake in the trash. Staff was pleasant andhelpful. A fella named erik was great and helped guide me thru the menu. He?s a hard working kid with a great attitude andsmile, he will go places ! In-N-Out always provides a friendly and enjoyable experience. Quick service with fair prices. The Double-Double with chopped... chilies is amazing! The spread sauce tastes good on about anything. Don't forget to get a chocolate, vanilla, or strawberryshake! Read more
There is something so weird going on at In n Out Burger & I just can't figure it out. Ever since the pandemic the lines of cars... waiting in line at every location are ridiculous. I could understand it in the midst of the pandemic but it's still like this.I'm like, is there something about In n Out that I don't know? I never thought it was THAT good. So, I'm just having this pavlovian response like wow I better eat here. They do use really high quality meat that is never frozen. But after sitting inline in my car for half hour my last visit I decided to go inside. There was no one inside at all & I got my food reallyquickly. So maybe this is the answer to the lines, nobody goes inside anymore! Not the best burger I've ever had in my life butpretty good, fries are made fresh from whole potatoes. Open until 1-1:30am. While the line for this location may extend to the street, it moves pretty fast. Knowing what you want before you go is super... helpful too and with the short menu it is pretty easy. Location specific: They do a good job bagging and getting everything ina way that it easily can survive a trip back home and still have a crispy upper bun. When in doubt - Get the double double. Horrible experience. Not only was the wait time hideous. The burger patty was about halfway cooked. The napkins they put on top... of my double double were stuck to my cheese on the burger. What else can be said about In and Out??? This was the first burger I had when I first arrived in America and it is STILL THE... BEST burger I have had in California! I began with the cheeseburger with fries, then I moved on to the delectable double double,then I moved on to the TASTY triple triple and finally graduated to the UNFORGETTABLE FOUR-BY-FOUR!!! My wife always gets thesecret menu protein style burger with fries and a neopolitan shake! When can you ever go wrong going to a In and Out? I mean really! I have yet to have a bad experience going to a In and Out. Yeah... the lines are long at times but, that goes to say the burgers are just that good. I love In N Out, What they stand for and their excellent food quality. However, at this location they get my order wrong about... half the time I rarely go there. Which really makes me not want to go at all considering how long I wait in line to get the foodeach time. Just waited 15 minutes to get a patty, bun and not even cheese.
