I decided to post this review today because Google reminded me to do so. To be fair I was there about a week ago but we again... went this morning (Thanksgiving morning). Why, would you ask, can I go to a taco place on Thanksgiving morning. Let me tellyou. Chef Luis wakes up at 5:00 in the morning to get there by 6:00 to cook turkeys for those that cannot afford. He doesn't askfor donations but he digs into his own pocket cutting his profits to feed so many people that regularly wouldn't have aThanksgiving meal. My family and I were blessed to go there this morning to volunteer sometime to help prepare some of thesemeals. He purchased 110 turkeys, he made parsnip stuffing carrots vegetables and mashed potatoes. We stayed for just 4 hours andhad cooked so many turkeys. Besides the fact that his food is top of the line amazing the mere fact that he digs into his ownpocket and to give up time with his family to cook for the less fortunate is absolutely amazing. Stand-out, top-notch Mexican in a no frills setting, you will be treated like family by the owner Luis and his staff. Not only... is the food great, he has a wide variety not usually found in Mexican restaurants, with pork chops, brisket, lobster roll,tamales, and they can whip up whatever you want from all that. Love everything about Golden Jalapenos!! The food is always fresh, made to order and super delicious. The Resturant is very... clean and has great vibes. All the employees are amazing and the owner is so friendly and generous. Nothing but great things tosay about Golden Jalapenos! Thanks for being so awesome! Sorry I don?t have more pictures, we always can?t help but eat most ofeverything before I remember I want to post. Here is a picture of the paella (my favorite) and today?s empanadas (my husband?sfavorite). He even sent us home with some cool t-shirts! They have everything from tacos to smoothies, a kid?s menu, deals forlunch and they even serve breakfast! Oh and a great happy hour deal from 3-6 too. Great food. Great tequila selection. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. Staff are also friendly.
