We came in on a Sunday afternoon with only one other couple inside and it was 30 minutes to get our food . Much too long. The... service was great and the size of my burger and side of fries was a good value for the price. I thought the burger was overdoneand dry. The seasoning on my fries was a bit too salty. Review is about service only. Have never ate here. Came here after church. Waited 40mins for a large pizza. 20 mins of that was... waiting for a drink refill. At 45mins just left. Asked waitress if owner was there. Nope. No owner. You?d think if you owned arestaurant and your staff was short handed you?d come in to your business to help. Great place to have a great wood-fired pizza, play pool, have a few beers, or just a glass of wine. The staff is friendly and... courteous. Prices are reasonable and they have a few gluten-free options. They offer a few in-house and well known draft beerselections as well as a pretty extensive bottled beer selection. Pool tables, shuffleboard, and some Saturdays, they have acornhole tournament. Always a good time at the Wonkey Donkey. Read more
We stopped here on our way home from Waco, there were 4 of us. We shared a Bruschetta appetizer and then 2 of us shared a small... pizza and then the other 2 did the same. The atmosphere is amazing. They did a spectacular job renovating the building. The pizza was great. The service was wonderful.
Food was excellent. Service very friendly. The place was clean and very pleasant would definitely come back
