I normally wouldn't write McDonald's dining experience at 5:00 I mean the food's okay it's not my first choice however I do... enjoy McDonald's chocolate shake and on this particular day I was in the mood for some McNuggets. Well I ordered the chocolateshake the 10 piece McNugget meal the Coke and then I also decided I needed some coffee just because I have a long drive ahead. Iget to the drive-thru window to pay and I inadvertently handed the cashier a lovely young lady my prepaid PayPal card which hada balance of under $4 on it I thought I'd give her my normal debit card. The young lady ran it once and it said partially paidand I told her what I didn't understand it to try running my card again she ran into second time and it declined it so I waslike hang on and I turned to my phone and I start looking to pull up my banking app to figure out what the heck's going on butthen she hands me a receipts my mistake and that the young cashier had paid $11 out of her own pocket for my order I was shotpleasantly but I insisted when I got to the window to pick up my food that I fix it and the young girl and the manager came upthere and they're like don't worry about it just think of it as a blessing and I was like oh my gosh thank you I was verygrateful but I want to rate this particular McDonald's at 5 plus because generosity and kindness that the cashier showed. It wasunnecessary and I'm not sure I would have done the same thing in her situation but I definitely will now pay this generosityforward and I'm going to surprise them cashier by bringing her back at $50 Amazon gift. So I definitely recommend thisMcDonald's out of all my area McDonald's because of that one cashier's act of kindness and generosity. Read more
My works at a McDonald's as a Manager in TN. We got in line and told the worked through the speaker we would be giving he a code... to earn points. We go through the ordering process, give her the code and then go to pull up. As we wait to pull up at thewindow my sister find that she can use on of the deals through the app, which is just giving the worker another code to typeinto the system and it just automatically overrides the last code. However the girl stated to my sister and I that she can notput in a code twice for the same order and then started to argue with both my sister and I who had the combined experience of 6years working at a McDonald's and who know that the system is the same nation wide for the codes. All she had to do was type itin and she would have seen it would work she refused and got very snotty as my sister and I remained civilized. We then paid andpulled up to the next window and spoke with bother the manager and the worked at that window about the situation and told us wewere correct you can type in both a points code and a rewards code it just overrides it. They where civilized and even apologized saying they would speak to her about it and we left. Never going back to this McDonald's again. Read more
