As tourists from Vancouver, we came to this place on account of this restaurant’s reputation and my friend’s recommendation.... The menu is full of surprises. The foods and drinks taste great and reflect an authentic fashion of Asian and Western style ofbrunch. The owner of this restaurant is nice and a good talker. And it is necessary to book a reservation one day before becausethis restaurant is always full of customers. Read more

It was nice to visit the ZCrew while I was in Downtown Calgary. This small fusion style cafe was trendy and cozy. They have a... great variety of all day breakfast and brunch for selection. Their food was creative and the presentation was very attractive. The quality was worth the price. We enjoyed the handcrafted coffee very much. The cafe wasn’t too big so I think it’s betterto make a reservation in advance to avoid long waiting time. This is a good choice to hang out with friends. Read more

Surprised By how good the food was here. The culinary fusion made for some nice choices. The coffee and the burger and the... French toast were all delicious. The scotch eggs were not my favorite as it was on a sauce that didn’t match. The service wasa little stressed and sometimes we felt rushed. There isn’t a lot of seating so make sure to make a reservation. Read more

A trendy vibe with nice decor. The food was delicious, I love that they have a bit of an Asian twist to their brunch items. Like... the Korean fried chicken eggs benny and the bird’s nest. I absolutely loved the bird’s nest, everything in it went togetherso well. The sauce matched the beans and the egg in the pork with panko was so unique to me. I’m not usually a fan of anytypes of sausages, but I will admit that the way that they cooked the pork sausage here was super tasty. I would definitely comeback again. Read more

Amazing experience. One of my top bunch spots in Calgary. A bit pricey overall but most of the dishes are worth it. Iced silky... coffee is 10/10 it’s smooth has perfect ratio of richness with the cream cheese foam without being overpowering. The findingmemo was nothing special but sweet potato fires were the highlight. Also tried the puffed up salmon benny which was a classicand well executed 9/10. Their salad on the side was also really refreshing with a zingy dressing. Lastly, the matcha pancakeswere a little dry and could use more syrup. I wish we got the Boston cream French toast instead, but they were still good andthe presentation was exquisite. Overall would recommend the wait time was be annoying but it’s like with all the brunch placeshere so better to reserve before hand. Read more

Summary 1.Please ensure all your kitchen staff wear mask properly when cooking customers’ food. There was a a kitchen staff... having his mask on his chin while working. 2. Please make sure the foods you are serving are actually cooked. I was excited tovisit this place, since I’ve seen great reviews and have been on my list for a while. Ordered the Bird Nest, I was quiteexcited for the dish and it looked great when it was served. I thought it was a very creative and fun dish as it presented. However it only went downhill from there. When I took a first bite of the scotch egg, I thought it was not hot or warm, justroom temperature. The egg yolk was runny and it felt cold. I shouldn’t have, but I ate the first scotch egg without thinkingfurther - it tasted meh but I am not usually picky. The second scotch egg, I ate the egg only first and then I noticed that porkwrapping around egg was RAW. It was NOT cooked. Maybe I should have known something was not right when the scotch eggs didn’tlook golden brown and felt cold inside. After I looked at that RAW pork I felt nauseous and disgusted. I notified my server andshe said it looked cooked to her (take a look at 3rd photo). But she offered to take it back to kitchen and then they admittedit looks uncooked. I initially was offered another scotch egg…or free coffee. I appetite was completely gone at that point soI declined. Then they comp’d the dish - which I expected - and offered free coffee stamp which I declined. There was nofurther action from management (apology, or explanation about how/why it happened, or how they are going to assure this is notgoing to happen again, etc). The server apologized and she was friendly tho. Read more
