Took someone out on a birthday dinner here! It was absolutely lovely. We came a little bit early for our reservation and were... able to get a table right away luckily. Since we both weren't super hungry, we ended up splitting a salad, the lobster bisqueand the lamb kabobs. Everything was absolutely delectable. And we're already planning our next foray back for more lambkabobs. The meal was very fast to come to our table which was slightly frustrating because our kabobs got cold while we weretrying the rest of the food. We also got lots of different drinks to try, I highly recommend the amaretto sour. It wasperfect. It is a little pricey but I would say it's worth every cent ?? Read more
Recently dined at Vero Bistro and cannot wait to return. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with such kind... service that continued the whole evening. Being from the East Coast I was greatly missing seafood and was very excited to trythe seafood platter. Every piece of seafood was so freshly and cooked to perfection. Love Vero. Second time dined in there. This time had the Surf and Turf tasting menu. Enjoyed it every bit. Lamb chop was super... tender, same as the steak, both were seasoned very well too. The two dipping sauce came with the platter were tasty, not saltyor anything. The size of the lobster tails in the mac & cheese were not that big but decent. Coconut prawns ???? were in thesalad, liked it. For the first visit, loved all the dishes ordered, especially the signature sweet potato gnocchi, a musttry. Good service, romantic environment. I absolutely love this place, their prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are good too. I was here 7 years ago and went... back again yesterday, quality is still just as amazing. I would definitely recommend the pasta dishes and the wine here is notbad either. The service was fantastic and I loved the atmosphere, would definitely come back again. Read more

Top quality food and service. The ambiance consists of muted lighting, moderate and pleasant background music. I do feel that... the bathroom lighting could be brightened up a little bit but that did not detract from an otherwise excellent diningexperience. Vero is one of the few restaurants in Calgary with consistently high quality food and service. Our server was supernice and knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10 would come again...excellent spot for a romantic date night dinner. Read more
