I've ordered from here a few times in the past and always thought it was amazing. I consider it a treat pizza because it's very... expensive, but usually it is piled high with toppings and it tastes delicious. My recent order was very disappointing, I had thedouble double and there was almost no toppings at all! I haven't had Vern's in a long time. Verns is a nice change as it's a bit different from other pizza spots. The pizzas are huge... and layered with loads of meat and other toppings. The crust is a nice crunch and isn't too chewy. I just wish the cheese couldhave been cooked a bit more. Overall great pizza and I recommend Vern's. Cadillac Style Pizza. Read more

Ordered Dec 22nd; which was a snow day in Calgary. The poor guy was running the entire place by himself. Ordered a pizza via... phone; and picked it up myself (about 25m later). Pizza was LOADED with meat - and a decent amount of cheese. It was not greasy.I typically order from a local competitor (Sammy's). I prefer Vern's crust and Sammy's pizza sauce. We ordered Vern's through Skip The Dishes and it was awesome. We get the original because we hate getting pizza's with two... slices of pepperoni on it. We have tried the Greek pizza and the double double and both tasted great. We love that the meat getspiled on, so it's worth the price! Our go to pizza place now. Read more
