Great homemade breakfast. Breakfast comes with fruit which was fresh and delicious! We waited almost an hour for our food and... were one of two families there...and the eggs benny was hard poached (asked for medium), but overall great service. Read more
Awesome little spot on 17th Ave! We went on late on a Tuesday since I was craving breakfast and this was perfect. My partner got... the poutine and the gravy was excellent. Generous portions for both, great value in an area that can run pretty pricey. I alsogot the chai latte (surprised they also had almond milk on the menu as well for the dairy-free crowd) which was delicious, learnfrom my mistake though the shaker is NOT cinnamon. Read more
Food was pretty decent. Their potatoes were great. Eggs were alright. I wouldn?t go again as it wasn?t to it?s full expectation.... I really didn?t appreciate how cold my dish was, it was barely warm which was my biggest negative about it all. My friend?s dishtook extremely long to get to the table even though it was just an omelet and they slightly mixed up what she ordered. Read more
Late lunch on a rainy day. Interesting and different menu with lots of great choices. Smoked meat omelette on my side with nice... fresh fruit and fried potatoes.. Nicely prepared and lots of flavour. Crepes with apple and cinnamon got rave reviews on theother side. A refreshingly simple and easy place to be. Settle in and enjoy the time. Read more
Came here for breakfast with our kids. The restaurant was severely understaffed. There was a single server for the whole place,... including accepting payments. (Absolutely not her fault management understaffed. Poor girl was run off her feet) On the plusside, the food was good and I got a Hawaiian mimosa which was delicious. As a professional note (former server), our youngchildren were last to be served food and it's good practice to serve the small children first. Great place for breakfast. Lot's of tables available and great menu options. We had smoked meat breakfast and breakfast poutine.... Both were perfect. This place also has two other businesses inside. A fried chicken to go (Nim's) and an ethiopian menu. Friedchicken place is amazing and looking forward to try the ethiopian food. Read more
