Started with calamari as recommended by server - delicious! I had the Caesar salad with a side of Cajun chicken - it was ok,... nothing fancy. My guest had a massive taco salad with ground beef - it was impressive and he said it was very tasty. Niceservice staff. Pretty quiet for a Sunday night. We are visiting from out of town, have been here before and would come back. The only suggestions is that it was rather dark. Otherwise good food. Erik is the best waiter you could ever ask for, took us in even though the ordering of food was coming to a halt (around late... 9pm - early 10 pm) and was very helpful in helping my significant other get her phone back when she had forgot it and they wereclosed. If you ever get Erik as your server, be ready for the great hospitality he provides! Read more
We ordered on Skip. Bad idea. We have not had food this bad from a restaurant before. The burger was burned to a crisp and... incredibly salty: it was inedible. The side salad was missed. The pasta and beef dip were super dry. We were shocked that foodof this quality would be sent out the door. Missing part of the order added insult to injury. Read more
Went for wing night and found the wings to get smaller & smaller each time they came out. We got 8 pretty small wings which i... find hard to believe was a lb. The drinks were good even though i received the wrong one. Service could be a bit better for theamount of customers they have. Overall good but could still be better! Read more
More like 2.5 stars but 2 seemed a little harsh. Anyways, I came here twice since I was staying at a hotel nearby. I actually... liked how it looked inside. Had "character" while still having enough of a modern touch to not feel run down or outdated. Didn'tfeel too "cold" and didn't feel too "dirty", just cozy right in the middle. The girl working did a great job, as it was quitebusy when I came in. She was patient, checked on me often, and got anything I needed. She was pleasant and seemed liked a hardworker. Would certainly come back here even just to have some drinks. Steak sandwich, veggies, and stuffed yorkies: This was adecent meal for decent value. The Steak looked small at first, but it was pretty thick. Bread was just whatever. Stuffed yorkieswere a really cool, unique appetizer. Just a tad on the dry side. Veggies were okay, just bland. Needed a little melted butteror some kind of sauce or seasoning. Jerk chicken sandwich, soup, and salad: The sandwich was good enough, aside from thelettuce being all wilted. I'm just not convinced it was much better than similar chicken sandwiches that cost $8. The souptasted identical to the same soup at Boston Pizza, and I assume countless other restaurants. I did inquire about the soup beforeordering it. I wish I had known, so I could have spent my money on something better. Salad - seemed soggy and I kept gettingweird off tastes. Overall I didn't really want to eat it. I asked for a water and the water tasted pretty nasty which wasbizzare. I got another one, and that one tasted okay. I tried both the desserts, and both of them were actually delicious. Andbig enough for two people to share. I almost want to say this was my favourite part. Overall a reasonable spot to relax andknock a few back, but perhaps I'll just stick to appetizers. The food was a bit too mediocre to rack up a big bill on. Read more
My boyfriend and I just left there a hour ago never again going back our waitress mess our order wrong, I ask for a shepherd's... pie and she came out with a lasagna and my boyfriend get a soup of the day with a hamburger and she came with fries not soup weneed to take it back and she mess up with my beer as well never again but she had my cocktail right thank goodness. Our waitress seen to be little nervous serving us as well but the chicken wings was pretty good ???? The gravy on the shepherd'spie was really salty I could not eat all of it so it was just waste of food. Ugh never again going there but if for drinks orchicken wings. Then sure Read more
