Reviews for The Tastemarket Canadian Kitchen by SAIT in Calgary, AB
Food is nice but portions are really small. Not what I expected.
The idea behind the place is great, the atmosphere is lovely, people are nice, the food is ok, which is expected given that it's... prepared by new chefs. To be fair, I have to say I only went there once and unfortunately left 70% of the food on the plate as Ididn't like it at all, but perhaps I was just not lucky with the timing. Can't really have an opinion after having tried it onlyonce. I might try it again though. Will update my review when I do :) Read more
Flavorful chowder soup. Best chowder for me. But some people might find it too spicy hot. The bland beef short ribs poutine... needs a bit of kick to make it extraordinary. I assume the students are learning the basics but students should be allowed tobe creative to bring a different twist to a plain beef ribs poutine. Read more

This place is centrally located in downtown. Around lunch time is busy but to get a seat is'nt much of a challenge. The place... has a lot to offer from ramen, pasta, pizza ,pastries and surprisingly they also have chacuterie board. My favorite is the ramen, broth is very tasty and well portion. Read more

Good variety of menu items and value for money. Busy lunch crowd, but plenty of seating. Can also order to go. SAIT students... work on set days. I'd eat here regularly if I worked downtown. Read more
Fantastic poutine as good as La Banquise in Montreal which is high praise.
