Probably a funny experience review. During Stampede week my daughter, her boyfriend and I wanted to eat something before I... brought them to the airport for their flight. We ordered, got our soft drinks ordered our food and checked with the waiter if wehad enough time to eat it. Everything took longer than expected and we ended up canceling our food order. The manager handled itwith grace. He waved the will even for the drinks, at the same time the food arrived. He immediately stepped up ordered to haveit boxed as fast as possible and we were good to go. The food was good even eating it from a box in the car! Excellent way ofhandling emergency situations. Brought a large group for a birthday party and was told it was a one bill policy. What they forgot to mention was that at the... end of it everyone had to do the math for what they owed. What's the sense paying an 18% gratuity due to all the excess workincurred from a large party if you're going to make them solve for X just to pay up. I've never had such a horrible experiencepaying a bill and there is no way I would ever bring a large group back. Even with the obvious frustration caused by forcing alarge table to figure out who owes what (they wouldn't even itemize the bill by person) the manager, Anya actually told myfriend to leave. Once the bill was paid she came back to tell him to go. Learn some customer service Anya, our waitress Janethandled it way better than you. You are the sole reason I will never bring large groups to this place again. Congrats on thepoor customer service that the entire place saw - it speaks for itself. Do not go to the Metropolitan Grill with large groupsof people - they can't even split the bill for you or handle it in a diplomatic fashion. Read more
