Great restaurant in downtown Calgary. Service is nice. Going there to celebrate for a birthday. Medium rare prime rib was... marvellous, soft enough but perfectly cooked. Steak with lobster were amazingly placed, well seasoned, fries are enough to fillthe plate. Billy miner pie on the house for the birthday one, unexpected. I think the keg is the benchmark for a restaurant experience. Consistently good dinners. Always a nice cocktail. The billy... miner pie is always a winner. It is decent value, and with the warm sour dough bread it is a winner. Is it the bestrestaurant ever? Maybe not, but I have been to many more expensive outings that were only half as good. Read more

We went for our anniversary dinner, and we were greeted by a huge congratulations from the hosts, then our server (Devon) he... went above and beyond to make our night amazing. The manager even came out with complimentary champagne and congratulated usherself. Our food was delicious and came out super quick even with the restaurant being busy. Great location and friendly staff! I will start by stating that the restaurant is a decent size. Both a bar area and an outside... patio along side a more quiet dinning area are available. I came for lunch and was offered both a lunch menu and a dinneroption. I chose the dinner prime rib classic. Never disappointed with the keg. Chef Jason delivered a perfect cut. Everyone wassuper friendly and all my questions were answered and the keg ceasars are perfect blend of heat and spice for me. There werevegan and vegetarian options available for those looking for a different type of meal. All in all you can find the menu online.I would eat here again. Highly recommended. We have been visiting Calgary from abroad and were not expecting much from our dinner experience? But that was quite the... opposite.
