Out-of-towner first time here around 6pm. Not busy...there were two tables likely that have been here earlier to take advantage... of the happy hour menu. I will seated very quickly and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful hostess as well as server. Iloved it when I saw the beef tartar on the menu, because that means that I can likely get my burger medium rare, which is what Iordered for my smoke hamburger. It was just simply delicious. The oysters were great as well and my bourbon cola sour sure hitthe spot. Definitely want to come back to try a few other things on the menu Read more

Originally emailed and coordinated a birthday dinner for a maximum of 22 people and due to Covid we slowly dwindled down to a... modest group of 7. I coordinated all arrangements prior with Nathan, the manager, and he was beyond accommodating. We wereserved by both Kai and Jada and they were phenomenal! This has been the best birthday, and we were served with kindness, courtesy, and just a bit of finesse. I wish I took more photos but everything was so wonderful I didn?t have the time tophotograph before the food was devoured. An absolutely spectacular birthday and I will be booking celebrations at thisrestaurant in the future! Every one in my group said they would 100% be back! Read more

Like their name, they have a long list of gin options and cocktails. Definitely a gin lovers heaven. Food wise is above average.... Not overly impressive. I ordered Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy, great season. The lettuce wasn'tchopped to bite size, and the dressing was too citrus that hardly taste any other flavor. For this price tag, I would expectmore on food quality. Read more

Came here with a larger group, so we ordered a bit of everything to share. For mains we got the duck, sturgeon, 12 oz veal... tomahawk and the seafood platter. Everything was over cooked and dry. I didn?t really enjoy any of the mains and the trufflepotatoes we got with each dish were bland and under seasoned. The seafood platter was not bad! The little bit of caviar wasdelicious on top of the smoked salmon. Read more

What a great evening out with another couple at the Derrick. A cozy, comfortable atmosphere where the staff makes you feel at... home. Not a large menu but what is offered is different and done well. I enjoyed the fresh oysters and complimenting sauce, the beet salad and duck tacos. The cocktails were lovely. Felt well catered to as the bartender Franco made some wonderfulcreations for our needs. Definitely will be back again soon. Read more

They are known for their gin! (as you can tell by the name) We tried two of their gin cocktails and they were both really good.... It was about $13 each. For food I got the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich. The taste was really good, although the chicken was abit burnt in some areas. I swapped the side for a cream of mushroom soup and it was so good! We also got the steak frites withspicy garlic butter. The steak was really soft and juicy ???? One thing to note is, the location was a bit hard to find as thesignage was quite small. Read more
