It should be zero stars because of the rudeness of one staff working there. I am a disability support worker and in the past I... took the people I support to Big Cheese for ice cream every summer. We had always gotten great, friendly service until today. Myindividual wanted to get ice cream and when we approached the ice cream display, we were barely acknowledged by a young ladyworking there. My individual was waiting patiently for her to come to the display so he could tell her what flavour he wanted -it is part of maintaining his independence. That young lady ignored us the entire time we were waiting at the ice cream display,and I felt that she was disrespectful towards people with disabilities. I had enough of her rudeness and took my individual nextdoor to Gummi Boutique, where he got friendly, cheerful service and ice cream to buy and enjoy. I will not be taking myindividuals back to Big Cheese again, and will not recommend it to my colleagues, because of the rudeness of that young ladyworking there! Read more

Awesome poutine and awesome staff. Great selection of items on the menu, vegan options too. The pouting feels like it costs a... lot but they also fill the box with meat etc. Staff were very friendly. Definitely worth checking out. Read more
Amazing little place. Searched for poutine place nearby and it was suggested by Google. I don't regret it. Asked for a large... smoked meat poutine. The portion size was HUGE! Being a large poutine guy I thought I would be able to finish it. But decided tostop torturing myself and gave up. The poutine tasted really good. Although I don't like the mustard on it. But if you likemustard it's a sure thing to try. The staffs were nice and accommodating. Definitely a place to visit again. Read more
OK I never thought I would leave a review for getting a poutine on the go?.however I just had the best customer service... experience at the Kensington location of big cheese! I believe her name was Natalie , she has purple hair and dreads and she wasjust an absolute delight. I couldn?t believe as soon as I was in how attentive and sweet she was, had the greatestconversation-super organic and it just made me feel like wow I realized I haven?t received great customer service in a while andI?m surprised that I felt so taken aback by that?but also what a lovely treat. Great celiac friendly place. They have a dedicated fryer and can swap out most (if not all, I'm not sure) gravies for a gluten... free one. Excellently sized portions for when you want to gorge on poutine! The fries are very good, not too crispy and not toosoft. The cheese curds are good too. My only complaint is I feel like the gravy could use a tiny little bit of extra salt, and Ifeel like a touch more gravy on the poutine would have been better (but who can ever have enough gravy?).
