Waiter looked at us several times. And took excess time of 15+ mins looking at us while walking around aimlessly. No tip... period. Finally getting food ordered, not even a h3llo or asking for drinks. We had to call them over for their section to. Wewere in the booth right at the entrance direct first booth right. Worst experience we've had here. Previous times we had betterexperiences. We had to find a booster seat, we asked several times and had to find it for our little one. We're not evenoffered help etc. Worst experience ever and the floors are slippery/in need of severe cleaning. Previous visit was stellar afew months back. Something certainly changed for the worse. What the heck. Even the person who "greeted us" wasn't positive.Super grumpy and rude. --- Dinner came, disheveled a bit. And no cutlery. Spouse had to request it directly. --- Added picof coffee mug, imagine the song, lonely, oh so lonely.. Left there for 20min while waiting for an obvious definement torefill. They brought a carryout for my daughters meal, but no refill of coffee. We thought it might be a good idea to order Swiss Chalet for Thanksgiving and we could not have been more wrong! Ordered 3... dinners for 4 that included 3 whole chickens in quarters. This place thought that giving us all legs and thighs would do, onlyone breast. The chicken was so small it was ridiculous. The skin was not crispy but dry and hard, only my dog liked it. For 12people they gave us 3 portions of stuffing and the pie came in a box that clearly was a frozen one. The baked potatoes came withno fixings except butter. I had Swiss Chalet about 12 years ago and I did not like it and now I remember why. Not worth evenpaying $2 for this garbage. Read more
How hard can it be? As per the photo, the food boxes have check boxes on the cover so the staff can indicate what order is in... each box. Were they marked? Of course not! Then when we opened the boxes, the orders were wrong! How hard can it be? Thankfullythe food was as delicious as we remember. This could have been a 5 star rating. My daughter wanted mini donuts so we decided to do take out tonight. Nothing special or fancy but when we got our order we had... two issues a missing item and a special request not followed. Honestly near where a big deal but we called to let the restaurantknow and I have to say how impressed I was by the service. Without being asked the restaurant offered to remake the dinner andsend the missing item. Read more
I love Swiss Chalet. Love the chicken, fries, and especially the sauce. Also they have very enticing prices. Service was pretty... good. Could have been a little faster but it was a very busy night. Wish they hadn't closed the one Airdrie... Read more
Enjoyed my dinner, my girl friend loved fries.We came to drive thru today. The service was too good as the lady over there spoke... so nicely to me. The food was hot and yummy as well. I just love Swiss chalet and will come again to this place with my friendsagain. : ) Read more
This is our first time to order in this Branch in Calgary. We had unpleasant experienced and thinking were done in Swiss Chalet.... 1. We went to thus branch to dine with but they said it is better to order online and they gave us a coupon $5 off of totalorder but when we asked what is the address of the store, staff can not tell us. 2. Server is having hard time to communicate inEnglish I am an Asian and there is not racial discrimination on this. 3. We asked for spoon, fork and tissue and they said yes.But when we reach the Hotel, there is none! We eat the food using our bare hands. 4. Had an awesome night last night with my bestie! The experience was so great because of Nancy! It was so busy but Nancy had a... smile on her face the entire time. She was so attentive and personable!
