Our server didn't remember our drinks, we had to go ask for silverware, had to ask for sauce, one person got their food and had... it sitting at the table 10 minutes no cutlery, until I went to get it, we had to dispute that one of our meals was the deal withthe free desert,my chicken was SUPER dry, and almost on the verge if not edible. not happy. Not very good, people are very rude and very pushy, you are trying to look at the menu and they keep pushing you to the window,... and also they CANT hear properly, don’t know if the problem is their headset, the speaker or their EARS…. We have had decent experiences here in the past, but I was disappointed the last time we ate at this location. The server... basically ignored us after the food was delivered. No "how is your meal?", no drink refills, no removing empty dishes orletting us order desert. After multiple attempts to flag her down, we finally asked another employee for the bill. Ordered from here a number of times, it is consistently good. Crispy wings and chicken is very good. One note- the poutine is... absurdly big when it is being delivered (legitimately 3+ pounds). It should probably be smaller or called family size. Read more
I ordered a $165 order from skip the dishes and when I began eating my chicken Caesar salad I found a bug in it. I contacted the... store and the manager offered to have another meal delivered to me but who in their right mind would want another meal afterfinding a bug in there food. Absolutely horrible sanitary practices if I’m finding insects in my meal. Read more
The food was good! The server was very nice to us. The manager was very accommodating and helped us make our Christmas get... together a memorable one, There was no private room for our party but he seated us in one corner and blocked few tables for usso that we can have a little privacy to play some games. It was really fun and all of us had a good time. Thanks to the ownerand manager. We will for sure come back to this branch at Shawville Blvd. SE. Read more
This had to be one of the MOST disappointing restaurant ordering experiences yet. First I dropped by the restaurant in the day... to pre-book and pay for a turkey meal wasn't allowed to. Call us at thus number, the call center told both my friend and I that no one would deliver to my address as Google doesn't always bring it up properly, she actually argued with us aboutwhere I lived she wasn't even in Canada! Phoned the restaurant placed the order was happy they said it would be here in an hour.And it was. Gave the man a great tip. The problem was they only sent one meal and it was cold. Called them back, told them theproblem they sent my friends meal, I asked for something because of the inconvenience. For all our problems 2 cold meals forThanksgiving we were given 3 little chocolates to share.All for 58.00 dollars. This is why I recommend to cook at home andNOT support Swiss Chalet! So here I am 3 weeks later. They have lied to me and said they sent out coupons (maybe for nextyear) the manager said he sent them out but never verified address, now today another manager said I will talk to himtomorrow and get back to you but didn't ask for my number. I said forget it I will call head office. Another joke now I gettold that she would go to the district manager who would then speak to the manager. Really...I said what does it take tohand over a simple apology or coupon .I said your company has neither common sense or customer service ????. I will makesure I tell ten friends who will tell 20 , better yet, social media.So for those looking for an excellent Meal don't go toSwiss Chalet, cause they don't have the common sense or customer service to leave you with a full belly or a sense ofsatisfaction.
