I had the most amazing experience at Subs n? Such. I have been wanting to go there for a while to try their donair sub. I... finally went in, and was amazed with the service I received from Tanya and Reg. The shop was so clean and they made me feel likeI was family, even though this was the first time meeting them. The sub was the best sub I have had anywhere. The bun was sofresh. I tell my wife I love her every day but subs and such is a close second. See you soon Tanya and Reg! I was first put on to this place when working nearby, and was told then that I had to try it. Well, Subs N Such is a game... changer. I have never deviated from my first order because it is SO GOOD. The best sub I have ever had (loaded donair).Period. Tanya and Reggie are there everyday, and make sure that your experience is great; the food, cleanliness, and friendlyservice! My first time at Subs n Such today on a strong recommendation from a friend in the office. The owners are there running the... place and they really care. Their specialty is the Donair sub so I had to try it! A little sweet sauce and some hot sauce. Itwas absolutely delicious! Can?t wait to try this place again. I?ll try the turkey or club next time. Fantastic local Sub shop I had the pleasure of trying out. I'm quite partial to subs and sandwiches for lunch and very partial... to donairs, so this place was the right stop for lunch. I ordered a classic assorted sub and the famous donair sub, I couldn'tnot try it being a bit of a donair enthusiast and from Edmonton (unofficial donair capital of Canada per capita) I did feel itwas nesessary for me to check it out. So first off, this place is not an actual donair shop with the meat on a verticalrotisserie and really can't be compared to legit donairs, however the donair sub I tried was really good and I would totallyorder it again. The meat looked and tasted like actual donair meat. Not like the thin weird bolony looking strips that otherplaces pass off as donairs. The only improvement I could recommend would be to pan fry the meat to crisp it up a bit instead ofusing the microwave. The buns were delicious and soft, topped with fresh tomatoes, onions and finely shredded lettuce which Ilove but rarely find. Plus the paper bags they use are pretty unique and eye catching. Service was prompt and extremelyfriendly, it really felt like my business was appreciated! I wish there were more locally owned shops of this calibre inEdmonton. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone and plan to eat here again next time I'm back in Calgary. Read more
Popped into Subs and Such today on business. The immediate atmosphere was not only appealing but super inviting. Being from the... East Coast it reminded me of a few different sub shops that always had the best subs. The owner made us a fresh donair sub togo and from the warm freshly baked sub bun to the wicked donair meat it was absolutely delicious. I had heard a LOT of greatthings about Subs and Such but this was my first chance to get in there.
