The Starbucks is inside of Marriott hotel. What do you expect from Starbucks? This place is no different from other shops.

The lady taking orders on July 21, 2019 was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to order a bagel and she only gave me one... cream cheese, when I asked for another one she sneered at me and said I couldn?t have one unless I paid. She then proceeded togive me a dirty look and turn to her other staff member. Only reason I am giving 2 and not 1 star was my drink was still tastybut customer service was very poor. Read more
Location runs a little slower than other locations and can generate a line quite quickly. Staff is polite but drink quality can... vary. No mobile pickup is also disappointment for this location. Read more
really like the Starbucks located in the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, it's very bright, open, offers a number of comfortable... seats and the staff are superb! One thing I also found a bit different about this location is the great wall art, on one wallthere's a mural of "The Coffee Belt" on the adjacent wall they have a really cool mural of Calgary, and then on the next wallthere's some hung paintings. Great art element at this location! It's not obvious that this Starbucks is here as the signage issmall outside, I'm guessing it's because it's a licensed non-corporate location. Luckily this means less people, a quieter caféand quick/efficient service! As a licensed location there are some downfalls; they don't redeem rewards and don't typicallytake part in corporate promotions, however you can still earn stars but they'll have to manually enter your card number if youdon't have the physical card and only have the app. This also means they don't participate in the free refills benefit given toGreen and Gold Members. They do still have all the usual offerings at this location including La Boulange, but their orderingprocess with corporate works a bit different so they may not be as well stocked as corporate locations. They do open quite earlyat 6am on weekdays, 7 am on weekends, but they close fairly early as well at 6pm. Not easy to get parking around here eitherunless you're a guest at the hotel. This is a great Starbucks location, they have some of the better staff I've encountered inall my visits to various Starbucks stores. There's the cool wall art factor, it's quieter and it's a nice place to hangout awayfrom busier crowds. There are some downfalls with being a licensed store, and I probably would have given them 5 stars if theyhad all the corporate benefits, but they still have all the great usual offerings if you're okay with making a non-promotionalorder that would fall under the My Starbucks Rewards program.
