My office orders drinks here all the time. We sent someone today to pick up 6 drinks, and my drink comes back as something we... did not order. I call in and am told that there is nothing they can do because its a new employee who did not know how to make avanilla bean frappe. So he just made a drink he knew. First off, why would you put a new employee on alone. Secondly, why wouldyou do that if he is not properly trained on all the drinks or have a book there so he can look up the drink. At the Save On Foods Startbucks location 3915 51 St SW, Calgary I went to get a nice sugar cookie latte before catching the bus... in the morning and the lady explained that they didnt have anything to make that latte due to the BC floods and shipping..However thats a lie because they have been out if that at the location week or 2 before the BC flood then I wanted a peppermintmocha instead and they were also out of it apparantly... so I ended up with a vanilla latte... and I was grabing a coffee beforecatching my bus but I had to wait long. As she started ringing other customers up that came in behind me after taking my order..so I was waiting a while for her to even make my order while she just continued to ring the new people through who continued toarrive. Finally someone else who works at this Starbucks location shows up with a stock of cups to restock and put out/ awaythen FINALLY got to making my latte.... little to late missed my bus and had to wait at least 10min to even get my late..wouldof been faster to grab a bottle of starbucks from the grocery store shelves instead... i don't even know why they are out ofeverything they need especially when this location is in a Dave on Goods grocery store of all thing's!!!! Meh 3 stars, It's a Starbucks. Overpriced coffee but those yummy lattes make it worth it when I want to treat myself.
Tyler from the Save On Foods Starbucks Location cannot seem to handle stress very well based on this first interaction. I asked... my partner to order coffee while I grabbed groceries and asked if they could order my normal coffee order, Tyler rolled his eyesand responded in what sounded like a very condescending tone about the order. If you cannot handle the stress of a line up,don?t take your frustration out on others, just don?t put yourself in that situation instead. Read more
Quick service with mobile ordering. Salted caramel cold brew highly recommended with light ice and water!
Female employee without a name tag made my drink wrong three times, the first time I even watched her short the drink and try to... blend some ice and milk to top it off. She tried to hand it to me and I politely asked her to remake it, she did and it lookedalright?it wasn?t. Had to go back (again) and ask it to be re-made, she added an obscene amount of matcha to the point of mydrink being chalky in texture. Watched her remake it the THIRD time, I had to instruct her on how to make it (I?m a previousStarbucks barista) and she became very short with me. All the while, she had a friend standing there at the counter blocking thedrink pick up and they were talking the entire time. Probably the worst experience with a Starbucks ever. Read more
I'm not sure who was working, but whoever recommended the pistachio latte is my hero. I'm hooked. Great location, navigating the... parking lot is a little tricky, but worth it. Read more
