The place is loud(some staff screaming through their masks) and the majority of the staff are fake. A few of the staff are... genuinely pleasant. But my understanding is they are a new union based business. They don't care about customers. i feel bad forthe employees that get it. Read more
This evening, I had a very nice young man take my order. Apparently there was some confusion because my Trenta turned into a... grande. I spoke up and the VERY RUDE man who made my drink got very boisterous and then started making rude comments. When Iturned back to ask what he had just said, his female coworker told him I was coming back and he proceeded to cowardly walk tothe back. The young man asked what was wrong and said he didn't hear anything. I suggest the man with the nice glasses who wasworking around 6pm goes back to training for customer service. If I'm spending $$$ for a drink, I expect exemplary service. Dobetter sir, do better. Read more
This morning at 11:05 I ordered a simple black coffee from a lovely lady and to my surprise I was advised to go to end of... counter to pick it up. When I saw the number of people waiting I decided to go cancel my order! I explained that for a simpleblack coffee it wasn?t worth the wait and the same lady was willing to return my money but I declined and left. My point inthis negative review is of all the Starbucks I?ve supported over the years this is the only one where the staff don?t turnaround and pour the coffee, which is right there, and give to the customer??. Quick service despite being very busy. No indoor or outdoor seating due to Covid-19. The washrooms are also closed at this... time. The team members here were pleasant and well spaced out. I thought it was cool that their BOH allowed many people to workwithout standing on top of each other. This located also features a drive thru, that was slammed at the time I visited. On Saturday mornings I venture out to the wild to grab my grande Americano with my standard 4 pumps of sugar free vanilla and... heavy cream as I?ve been doing for 15 years. I visit this one with hope things will change. I can?t blame the staff, everythingseems to be a bit busier and they have a hard time controlling it as it would seem, they can be short. I do not wait in thedrive thru the setup for that location is horrible never mind a majority of the people that cram themselves in leaving much tobe desired in the realm of courtesy. I will say between the clientele (Which seems a lot of them come from the ?Canadian?competitor and the frazzled staff this place has turned from great to less than favourable. This place always have good people working in it in my opinion, I have a very good experience in this one. I made mistake on my... own drink at one time so I drove right around to the drive through again to get the right one and of course she recognized meand she gave me the drink for free, also the drink I usually order is made to perfection so I crave it once awhile ????Starbucks inside Safeway by Shawville the first time I ordered drink there was also the last (sorry).
