Worst restaurant to go ever. Servers di not know how to customer service. When we order Tandori Momos there was hair in plate... ans server is saving where is hair. Had lunch last week. We started with the vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were straight from the frying pan, but the... twist was that the filling including noodles. They were five pieces for $10. Then we got chili fish. It was not served as asizzler but was not overly sweet. Got vegetable fried rice with the fish. For $8 the fried rice was good quantity. The chickenbiryani also tasted very good and reasonably priced for the quantity. The highlight was the saag with a drop of desi butter andthe freshly made makki di roti. The roti is each for $4, but it is worth it. The matka kulfi for $4.99 was a littledisappointment. It was a small plastic matka and barfi was added to attain a thick consistency because you could taste thebarfi. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended. Read more

Good day to all my Indian friends, If you are deciding to come to this restaurant then think twice. Dishes are priced high... according to the portion size they are providing. I don?t know I always feel that in Indian restaurants are not providing thegood customer service. Server is never smiled. They always look that someone is forcing them to work. They contradicts theirrestaurants name as well spice room but their is no spice in food. When we said make it spicy they cut green chillies on the topof the dish and not even cook them. Spice room lives up to its reputation as a mainstream restaurant of Calgary. I visited Calgary for 2 days and ate here and I... would say the food is wonderful and I would recommend people come here for great Indian food. On Sunday Morning Ordered Chhole Kulche over the phone and they said it will be ready in 30 min . I was there in 30 min , and... waited for another 40 min to get my order . The guy was very rude and just continue saying that it will be ready in 5 min andkept me waiting . At the end he said Kulche was burnt and they had to make new one . And look picture what I got .
