Clean, nice place. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs and it shows in the quality. I couldn't help myself but emulate Samuel... L. Jackson's famous Pulp Fiction line after biting into my whiskey bbq burger and say "Mmmmm! This IS a tasty burger!" Thefries aren't as exceptional though. They hover somewhere between a classic sit-down restaurant and a fast-food joint. Read more
I'm actually blown away that anyone would send this out to anyone. There was so much bbq sauce on this burger that the bun was a... sponge. I ran out of napkins trying to soak it all up. Absolutely not edible at all. Exactly the same with the hot dog. Whoprepares food like that. Couldn't be more disgusted. Never again ????. Shameful that this even gets 1 star by default. Read more

I really value the warmth and consistency of South St. Burger on 130th Ave SE, as it is always going above and beyond for the... regulars who stop by. It is my top choice for burgers and fries in the south - yes, pun intended. The general atmosphere of thespace is organized and inviting, and there are always good vibes to be had. Above all else, whenever I go here I feel invited,safe and comfortable, and I frequently see others sitting down to dine in whenever I visit. Along with this, the burgers aregrilled nicely to taste and they are prepared right in front of you. On a more personal note, there is a tangible nostalgic feelto all of these different aspects of the store, and it makes the experience that much more delightful. Burger was delicious, poutine was very good, it came in a new York fries box, I didn't realize they were associated. Basically a... new York fries poutine with a delicious burger and a tall can of beer, a little on the pricey side but still worth trying. Read more
