Really enjoyed Wing's Wednesday here. The signature Beagle flavor is a must try!!! Love their take on a dry wing, breaded to... perfection and super hot and fresh. All sorts of funky music related decor such as giant guitar, musical instruments, recordsetc. Would definitely frequent here again! Read more

Our faith in the Beagle on 17 ave SW has been restored. We were skeptical trying the Beagle again after too many bad... experiences in the last several years. But the latest visit was like the Beagle of old when it was busy with lots of youngfamilies and attentive and professional staff members. Thanks to our amazing server, Danielle! she helped us immediately uponarrival and our wings came very quickly and they were absolutely delicious. The food is ok, wings were good up until our last visit! That being said the wing recipes are from the old owner Sid, so they... should be good but unfortunately the new owner and cooks have destroyed their good taste, either by under cooking or overcooking! Also Never order a salad… lettuce and veggies are not fresh! Service pathetic! Okay food does not make up for really badservice! We have been going here for many years , long before the new owners took over and it’s sad to see it go down hill.Staff do not care about the customers and neither do the owners! We love this little pub! Great Happy Hour specials & we actually like their happy hour wine! The location is somewhat tucked... away, but this place has an amazingly friendly, cozy ambiance. Cyndi provides fantastic service, so we find this place continuesto be a neighbourhood favorite. Read more

I am a long time customer of The Regal Beagle and up to my last visit (about 2 months ago) this was my go to place for chicken... wings. Prior to that last visit the wings here were some of the best in the city. The breaded wings came out piping hot with acrunchy coating and juicy inside. The unbreaded wings were themselves excellent with a nice coating of sauce and a perfectcook. This last time though.. the breaded wings came out overcooked on the outside (almost tasting burnt), yet cold and dry onthe inside. These were almost for sure a second short fry job for a previously cooked batch of wings. They were almost inedible.The unbreaded hot wings on the other hand were room temperature, the sauce congealed, and were dry. Effectively what that lastwing on a plate tastes like after 1/2 hour of sitting there while you drink beer. As a regular who talked this place up toeveryone I know and who regularly drove 1/2 hour from Bearspaw to get to the Beagle for wing night I myself am now reluctant totry to give them another chance as the quality change was not a slight miss from their former level but a complete fall off thecliff and I felt horrible walking out of the place for my 1/2 hour drive back after that experience.
