First time coming to Red Lobster. Took the family out for dinner. I have to say I was very surprised. First off the server... was excellent. She was good at clearing the table and making sure drinks were topped up. She was very friendly and did anamazing job. The lobster mac and cheese was a little bit too salty. It was served in a creamy lobster cheese sauce and toppedwith bacon. The lobster mash potatoes had good amounts of lobster in and just smothered in a creamy sauce. Im not too surewhat kind of sauce it was but it was very rich. Because we got lobsters next time I would not order this as a side. Maybe theregular mash potatoes would have been a better choice. The admiral's feast was a platter of fried Shrimp, scallops, clam stripsand fish. Served with a bunch of sauces. It was okay but probably my lease favourite dish. I would skip out on this one nexttime. The lobsters were well cooked they were so tender and sweet. Dipped it in butter and it was delicious. I was verysurprised as it was fresh lobster and and not frozen! Frozen lobster would have a mushy texture. The steak it came with was alower cut of steak as to what I am used to. I believe it was a sirloin steak. The steak was cooked to medium rare but due tothe cut it was more chewy for liking. I wish I could have upgraded it to a high cut grade. The shrimp that is came with wasalso very good. I have to say as a family we enjoyed our meal here. It honestly really surprised us. I would come back hereagain in the future. My lunch order of Shrimp Linguini Alfredo was delicious. The serving was generous, and I took half of it home. As always, it... came with the famous biscuits. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The Sangria was the best I had ever had in Calgary! Read more

Friendly service. Nice cozy atmosphere. The food was alright (this coming from someone who doesn't particularly like seafood... (why did I go there then? Good question)). Food is superb! The only thing was the check-out process. The waitress threw the receipt in my plate when she saw the tip I... wholeheartedly gave. She was upset that it was not 15-20% tip of the total bill. She walked-out without saying a word.I dinedwith my husband and two kids. I am wondering where on Earth the misbehaving was coming from. I believe she also get an hourlywage and earn tips on the side. Working in food industry is a noble job that you want guests have a wonderful time andexperience something beautiful. I was treated with disrespect.I thought Covid taught us to be grateful for everything especiallyfor keeping jobs and businesses running. If you work in other industries like healthcare, people there do not expect anything inreturn. No tips as well, no breaks even when it is super busy. I tried fish and chips, coconut shrimps and soup they all are so yummy. The taste is fabulous and the value for money. Its just... 20 dollar deal. I will go again for coconut shrimp. In the end i want to mentioned the staff are friendly and helping. Read more

We've never really seriously considered going to Red Lobster. I don't eat seafood and so it seemed silly to go there, right?... Then one day I checked out the menu on Skip the Dishes, and realized there were many non-seafood dishes that looked good! Ididn't order at that time, deciding that I'd like our first experience to be in person. Well, we went today for my birthday andlet me tell you, it did not disappoint! The servers were absolutely incredible. We might have given the biggest tip we have evergiven. There were many great options for myself and my husband, who does enjoy some seafood dishes. It took a while to choose.We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, and they came out pretty quickly, then our entrées followed pretty soon after that.When we arrived, the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special, and I told her it was my birthday. So at the endof our meal the wait staff came over with a candle in some ice cream and sang happy birthday to me. It was very kind! We willdefinitely be returning!
