Reviews for Prairie Donair Inglewood in Calgary, AB
Fantastic service and even better food! Will be back very soon! Robert was great and we welcome the addition to Inglewood
Before I start, i don't mean to be rude or ask for anything. I know this kind of reviews can arm a business but I feel like I... should speak up so the company can give a better training to they staff and I understand that they just opened thislocation. Just had the " pd east coast" donair. It was cold and I mean I don't even think it was ever hot ( the cheese is stillshredded ) The meat was holding in a bain marie therefore supposed to be hot but it wasn't. It was super crunchy ( and not inthe good way) : it's like it was cooking on the stick for so long that it start to crust and then it was too hard to cut finslices and end up cutting HUGE squares ( see the picture of the square meat and you can see a big brown crust and the unmeltedcheese) The fries tasted like if the oil was never changed. Poorly trained staff that don?t know what?s on the menu. They didn?t have any cutlery other than plastic spoons so I took my... food to go, big mistake. I didn?t realize how bad it was until I arrived home or I would have asked for a refund. My poutine wasmore of a French fry soup that leaked right through the take away container and all over my passenger seat. Read more
We?ve been here twice now. Donairs are delicious. We?ve had the East Coast, the Canadian Maple, and the Greek Gyro. As a... displaced Maritimer, I can attest this is good donair meat and good donair sauce. We?ve had the dunkers which are like chickennuggets but with donair meat - yum! We?ve had the perogies, I would probably pass on them, too much potato and not enough donairmeat. We like the cheesy naan cuz we can feel guilt free about inhaling all of that donair sauce. And the guy working here issuper friendly. It?s clean. It?s fresh. It?s a good spot. Read more

first time i went y'all were really good with gluten free and cross contamination. and the food is really yummy ! today the... employee kept insisting the pita was gluten free. after i informed him that it infact, was not gluten free and got him to grabthe gluten free wraps he followed none of the cross contamination guide lines and i couldn't eat my donair :( Read more
Was sceptical at first going into this newly opened joint but was eventually glad I did! I got a well stuffed lamb/chicken... build-your-own shawarma and it was just right for the price. Enjoyed it, though next time I will go lighter on the tzatziki andheavier on the hummus. Happy it?s opened close to home for us in the East Village. Will return for more flavours. Read more
