CALL AHEAD 10% OFF PICKUP - It's all good here! Salads, rice bowls, donairs, PD Skillet (like a donair version of poutine),... smoothies are tasty... great place. Read more

Great food! Didn't know they had such a large menu, more than just donairs.

Hate to write a bad review - but this was honestly the worst donair place I've ever tried. If you're looking for authentic... flavours, run far, far away.... Read more

I ordered a kids chicken fingers and fries. For $6, I was expecting a bit of a bigger portion. Instead I recieved this tiny... little amount of fries and two small chicken fingers. Very disappointed. And the donairs, although good flavor, were notportioned appropriately for the price. Read more

I was really hoping this place would be adequate, considering it's so close to home. But I gave the east coast donair a try and... it was surprisingly bland. I ordered a medium 9" which was $12.89 (about $14 after tip) and it was quite small compared toother medium sized donairs at similar prices from competing restaurants. Usually donairs are known for being a pretty heftymeal, but this size was closer to a McDonald's wrap (I didn't take a photo, but you can get an idea from their photo from Skipthe Dishes). If it had tasted amazing, I probably wouldn't have minded the smaller portions for the price, but it was probablyone of the more unimpressive donairs that I've had, so I was pretty disappointed. I'm hoping that they change things up andimprove as I was REALLY looking forward to having a great pita place close to home, but I think they're a chain and the chancesof that happening aren't likely. I don't think we could stand having another business close shop in our community. The bestdonairs in the area are still at the Pita Grill in Riverbend, but I'll probably still try Prairie out once and a while to see ifthey've improved and update my review if they do. EDIT: Thank you for your response. Sorry, I should have been more specific,I wasn't referring to the number of toppings, but the amounts (of meat, wrap size, etc). For example, if I purchase anequivalent donair at another location, it seems to be about twice the weight of the one I tried at your location). I don't knowif you have a say in changing up the portions and I know that things are getting more expensive, but I would recommendincreasing the size of the portions to remain competitive. I don't know what could be done for the flavour. I don't reallywant to introduce myself as I wouldn't want to get any special treatment as I'd want to taste the exact same thing you'd give tothe next person. I will try stopping by and perhaps try another style, but the typical east coast donair is Read more
