We have been going to Popeyes for a while. This is our preferred one as the location is interesting. You sit on 17 Ave and watch... people while enjoying the spicy fried chicken. However, over the past few months, the quality has visibly degraded. Pleaseconsider the following before going there: 1) They use leftover fried chicken, either from the previous day or from themorning. The crust of the chicken is hard and burnt (which happens when you fry leftover 2nd time), you can see it. They mix itwith freshly fried chicken so that it is not easily noticeable. 2) The environment is shabby: they do not let customers use thewashrooms so that they do not have to clean them. They just tell people it is under maintenance and that has been ongoing for atleast 6 months. They give very few napkins with to-stay food and do not keep spare napkins where they are supposed to be. Theyhide it behind the cash register. 3) They have a lot of customers ordering thru skip the dishes at the drive-in. So, #2 may notaffect all of you but be aware of #1.
