If you are looking for high quality and delicious deli meat at reasonable prices, this is the place to go! They make near... everything in house and they are always busy so you know it?s fresh. Judging by the shear volume of product they go through,things don?t sit in their deli for too long. In regards to customer service, I?d like to address some of the negative reviewsstating that staff are rude. Like many, in the past, I always felt really uncomfortable because the staff didn?t smile, theirtone wasn?t friendly, etc. it?s absolutely a different customer service experience than what most Canadians are used to.However, despite this I would not say the staff are rude. They are actually being neutral. However against the backdrop of theCanadian culture of bubbly smiles and constant apologies, the juxtaposition of a neutral and non smiling non bubbly person isperceived as rude. It?s not. It?s actually quite common in Europe. After I lived in London England for a period of time andspent some time in Paris this juxtaposition was also very apparent when I came back to Canada. I guess at the end of the day,don?t take it personally that you didn?t get a smile and chalk it up to getting a very authentic European experience? Lol. Iwill say that the friendliness of their staff has improved significantly over the years as they get younger and younger staffworking behind the counter. In terms of the hot food, it?s good but not a wow factor. Just my opinion. Of course nothing beatsmom?s cooking, so I am a bit biased. Regardless of how you feel about the ladies behind the counter, or the hot food, theirdeli products can?t be beat. For that reason, I will always be a loyal customer and supporter of this business. Also Iappreciate the authenticity. Not everything has to be westernized all the time. Best deli meats/sausages I've ever tried. I've had other local style meats in small towns, cities, etc and nothing compares to... this place. Store is nicely laid out and clean and service has always been great. It can get busy as it is very popular (forgood reason) and so sometimes lines are long but the quality of the meat is so worth it. I don't live super close to it so oftenstock up and freeze it so I have some on hand as I now can't stand grocery store garlic sausage after having theirs. Read more
