The poke here is phenomenal, but I have to say I was very unimpressed with the staff making my order. I witnessed the girl... working behind the counter be extremely rude to to multiple customers including myself. She was clearly annoyed that we allordered a ??make your own bowl? and would make a snappy comment when the ingredients we put in our order were similar to one ofthe pre-made bowls. I?m not one to write a negative review, but this experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. Read more
My boyfriend and I came here on a date almost two years ago! It was legit the best poke bowl we have ever tried in the city!!!!... Even though we live far south, every once in a while we will drive up north and treat ourselves!! It is worth the drive, and werecommend this place to everyone!!! Read more
I got a build your own poke bowl. The service was friendly and the selection of toppings was good. However, the toppings were... over-sauced and the rice was bland. I am not a fan of how they mixed all the topics and sauce together, the sauce overwhelmedthe flavours of everything else. This place has great potential with some adjustments to the recipes and preparation. Read more
Visited Po-ke for the first time today. The food was fresh, tasty and hearty. The staff was very friendly and everything looked... very clean. They also provided customer parking behind the building which made visiting much easier. I will certainly return tofix my next Poke craving.. Read more
A solid 3.5 overall. It's a nice spot that hits the mark with a craving for poke. Pricing ranges from $10-18 (depending on size... and also topping/type). Their Po-Ke special bowl was very unique and you get heavy flavours from the overall bowl (the mandarinsactually are a good mix to it) I found that the saucing was too heavy on the bowl which overpowered many other toppings alongwith the sushi rice flavour. Quantity of toppings was ok (heavier on some toppings than others such as seaweed salad andmandarins vs avocado, fish). The musubi side was also ok - rice didn't stick together too well and was a little too salty for myliking. Good cozy ambiance in this shop - well kept and clean. One of the best poke places in Calgary, they actually let you choose the stuff to put into the bowl and there aren?t many of... those here. I love the variety of ingredients that they have and it?s always yummy for me. My only recommendation would be forthem to get Kale noodles, it?s sooo good. Read more
Love the packaging! The bowl itself also packs so much, and if you order the build your own bowl, you're presented with so many... options to choose from. I can only comment on the salmon since that's the only protein I order, but I never have complaints,super fresh. The best portion to get IMO is three scoops of protein. They use quality products and the ingredients always seemto be fresh in every order I get. Read more
This was my favorite poke place to begin with and one of the OG spots for poke in town... Over the past year though, I found... that the quality hasn't been as consistent. At times, my poke tasted like the fish was old or not marinated enough? Other times,it was just perfect. Today I ordered through Ubereats, and the avocados had dark spots and were just not ripe at all. They werehard to the point that you have to use a knife to cut it into pieces. It was not as pleasant. I always end up giving this placeanother chance because when it first opened up, the bowls were always on point. Unfortunately, it's a hit or miss these days. Ijust hope this is valuable feedback to look into it, because I'd still love for this to be my go to place for Poke. Read more
