I?m giving this place a 3 star because the food has always been good but today was by far the worst customer service I have... experienced at this establishment. I?ve been going here for years and I?ve noticed the last year or two, the way they treatcustomers has went extremely downhill. The young girl working the front was so rude rolling her eyes at my simple request andslamming trays and sauce down. If you cannot be friendly to your customers, maybe working in the back would be better. I reallydo love the food, the donairs are the best I?ve tasted. But I will not go back if I continue to be treated like aninconvenience. Read more

Food isn't bad but the young lad that works there should work on his costumer skills. It really feels weird tipping this... guy when he's acting like I'm doing some harm to him buying the food.. I'm there quite often and it always feels wrongwhile dealing with this guy. Today I ordered one pita for my wife then when he finished preparing it I said I'll get onefor me as well - he threw a pita bread on the table with anger and said I should have tell him ill be ordering another one.. ???? I've been coming here since I was in my teens. Not only was it the perfect after session meal to satisfy me but the staff had... this home-y kindness that you just knew was genuine. I have never come out of this business dissatisfied with the service orfood. Read more

I ate here a few years ago. I still consider it one of the tastiest shawarma I've ever eaten. I'll be back next time I'm in... Calgary. Read more

The customer service at this restaurant is atrocious and honestly shocked me today. I have been a customer for almost 15 years... and today is the last time I?ll ever buy from them. Years ago it was pleasant to go in, the owner even remembered me afteryears, and now I?m left with the feeling that I?m inconveniencing them by daring to step in and order food. The young man isabsolutely miserable and makes it well known. He often sighs at my order, I could brush it off until today when I asked for anorder of fries. He stopped what he was doing and stared at me with a look on his face that was scary. It felt like he wanted tokick me out for simply ordering fries politely. They?ve lost a longtime customer for good. It?s really too bad because I lovetheir food, but I can?t support a place which treats people so terribly. Read more

This is a sad review to write. This place has in my experience had a great track record. We've always found the food very... satisfying in the past, and a positive customer experience. Even in times of visible stress this family business had made aneffort towards being personable and satisfying the request. Last time we went a couple months ago there was a very noticeableshift in the experience of ordering. The food was on par with their standards so chalked it up to few hard years and not havingbeen in a while. There was a sense of worn out, jaded, and general resentment towards the customer for ultimately the employeeschoice to work there. I've worked industry most my life, I can relate personally as well as having seen it in many coworkersthe struggle of being over a workplace yet staying for various reasons. Fortunately usually as cooks we have been out of thepublic eye, so attitude has a little wiggle room. The servers get paid to smile in most of my settings????. But these folks areright in view, on the stage if you will. This time was one of the worst experiences of its kind. I asked, as it seemed like mysuper shwarma was getting the smaller portion of meat meant for the regular one. This was after noticing but not mentioning mypita get practically shredded while getting prepped for toppings. There was no response, I was friendly and genuinely asking.Instead the fella slammed some stuff around and seemed to blame his coworker. He wouldn't respond when i further said I was justasking a question. The energy wasn't not pleasant in there it really felt like they were mad at us for being there and how darewe have a question about our food we were paying for. I would really say you guys know how to knock this out of the park andhave for years provided a wonderful product. Its up to you to decide if this is a worthwhile investment if your time. No amountof quality can make up for projecting your inner stuff at your customers. We will not be returnin Read more

I've been coming here for the past six years, and the quality has remained consistent through all that time. The staff are... always friendly, fast, and efficient, and the price is reasonable for what you're getting. What I love about their donairs ishow they grill them. They always get the timing just right - perfect grill marks and warm meat combined with still-cold, crunchyand fresh vegetables, and whatever sauces your heart desires. Sometimes they kind of skimp put on the lettuce, though I'm surethis is to keep the balance of the donair in tact. But if you want more of any topping, they're happy to load you up. I've neverbeen disappointed by anything from this place. If you're in the neighbourhood and are in the mood for some Lebanese donairs, stop by the Pita Stop! Read more
