First of all, great service, there was tea at the table before we even noticed, and everything was well timed. The food was... good, but unlike many Vietnamese places (with similar prices) the serving sizes were not too big for a meal, just right in fact.So not as much value, but also the fish sauce seemed to be watered down. Ordered the ?Satay Beef Noodle Soup (spicy)? on my lunch break with the coworkers. Noticed that most of the prices on the menu... were actually quite expensive compared to most phò noodle houses. Our meals came out pretty quick though and the service wasgood. Didn?t get to try out their Vietnamese spring rolls unfortunately because the soup bowl was really big (my order was big,the other XL orders were a lot smaller). Spacious dining and great flavours at Pho Van in Harvest Hills. The staff can speak both Vietnamese and Cantonese and have a fun... laid back personality- this place seems to be a local patron favorite. Prices I noticed are up close to 6% compared to a menuimage from 6 months ago, inflation woes continue. I got the spicy grilled chicken Banh Mi and it hit the spot, flavors andbaguette were on point. Been here several times for dine in and take out and they always have great service and delicious quality food. I highly... recommend the grilled pork salad rolls and the rice dish with bbq short ribs. They?re noodle dishes are also great.
