Well I've been living in Alberta for 6 plus years and tonight was the first and likely the last time to try Peters Drive In. ... I'll start off on a good note customer service is good fast and Friendly. The prices are okay but there is a big fail with theBurgers. They remind me of eating burgers from back in the day at all the summer BBQs cheap frozen patties by Sunrise. I feellike it's a huge mistake but I get it you need be fast to get this burgers out to the customers. And hand made ones take time. The Milk shake is extra thick which was nice for a change. All in all there is way better burger spots to hit up in the City. But everyone has there own opinions and views this is mine save your money unless you want to check out and see what the Hype isall about ????. Read more

Food is great and also their milkshake specially on a hot weather like today. The only reason I gave this rating is because of... the girl whose serving us. We always drive by in this place every time we?re in the area but this is the first time that I?vegot this kind of treatment wherein that girl didn?t even say anything to me and she didn?t even bother to look at her customerand she just shovelled that ATM card reader at my car window like she didn?t care. I hope that I will be the first and lastperson who will experienced this because it kind a ruin the reputation of the store when it comes to customer service. Morepower to Peter?s Drive In. Not too sure what the hype is about. Food isn?t amazing. Burgers are small and underwhelming. Beef patties taste like they?re... from Walmart, chewy and under seasoned. Sauce was okay. Fries were disappointing. Cold, hard and not fresh. Cheese didn?t melt.Gravy tasted old. Milkshakes were the only redeeming factor. Lineup was very long due to the spot being located at a very oddintersection which resulted in traffic being backed up. Would I recommend? No. Fat burger/Five Guys/Rockos/Burger Heaven isbetter. This place had something unexplainable that makes you like it. Definitely not the best burger or fries so don?t expect gourmet... food but the overall experience makes it the best. Very reasonably priced and good portion size. Tons of great milkshakeflavours. And just the vibe itself makes it an amazing experience. Highly recommend it. Read more

Kids love this place. Used the drive thru - staff was patient as we went through the menu. No long wait. Burgers were great. ... The ?small? fries are huge and tasty. Shakes were top notch. Coming back here for sure. There?s a parkette type thing withtables if the weathers good. Sorry for the reflective pictures of the menu. Read more

My girlfriend loves all the insane combinations of milkshakes you can make here. I just love the vanilla soft serve and so does... my dog. He literally looses his mind for it. There are picnic tables nearby to eat there too. Read more

For a fast food experience of burgers, milkshake and fries, it's not bad at all. The 4 star rating is based on fast food style... vs other fast food joints. By no means is it the best burger but for what it is + value...it makes it worthwhile. Don't expect aquality, made to order, fresh off the grill style. This is more of a Salisbury steak with a good amount of sauce (gets dippedinto it when it comes out of the cooking line). Its not dry for this main reason. You get to choose your condiments to toppingsor simply say "the works" for everything . They're not stingy on one or two strings of onions as some fast food joints would be- they give toppings to the point that you see them all. The fries here and onion rings are very good and a small size is likethe large size at McDonald's. If given the choice of McD's or here, there's some uniqueness and also cost value where this onewould beat it. They also serve up a lot of different flavour milkshakes (a lot of folks order it) but be aware that most of themare syrup based for flavouring. A good place to go but if it's worth that constant long waitline...I would hold out and go whenit's less busy. Read more

Great for place for burgers and shakes. The beef burgers were great and you get to customize them as you please. I would skip... the veggie burger, it was basically a Costco black bean patty and not worth the money. The milk shakes were fantastic. It's acool spot and busy all times of the day. A must visit if you come to Calgary. Read more
