Been going to Peking Dragon since 1988. It was our go to restaurant for any special occasion, birthdays, anniversaries... ... Haven't been for the last few years after they went to take out only. I live in the deep south and it's a drive to get to them.Have tried every Chinese food restaurant in the Shawnessy area, major disappointment. Today I called Peking Dragon. The ownerand his daughter both recognized me, we chatted for a bit and then I drove back to Shawnessy. Even after a 20 minute drive thefood was exceptional! Updating to say this is still my favourite Chinese restaurant in Calgary. Always delicious and fresh. I've been ordering from... here for 8 years and they never disappoint! I don?t understand some of the bad reviews I really feel like there must be anotherrestaurant with a similar name that people are getting confused with this one. Love this place! Read more
We ordered through Skip the DIshes. When we sat down to eat we noticed the Beef with Broccoli had a strange odor and the beef... was grey. We attempted to call the restaurant to complain but they were closed. We called the next day and the person on thephone immediately became hostile. We were basically told its not their problem - if we don't like their food we shouldn't orderfrom them again. A restaurant that does not stand behind the quality of their food does not deserve to be in business. Read more
We've been ordering from them for 2-3 years now and it's always great! Food comes fast, it's still burning hot, fresh and the... portions are huge! We always have enough food for a couple of days. We usually get the meal for 4 and I really like everything,but the fried rice is exceptional. Thank you for the occasionnal free dumplings, they were yummy. Read more
