I was hesitant to check out Paul?s Pizza based on some peoples experience with the name but I am super glad I went on the... weekend, and worth the babysitter! Pizza was very good, (great homemade "mom and pop shop" quality,) but we also ordered a piece of the "COLLOSAL carrot cake, (as... we love carrot cake,) thinking if it was a big slice as the name suggests, my hubby and I could share, but it was what I wouldcall a smaller than average slice. Maybe 2 inches at it's highest point and very thin at the bottom, (not to mention that it's$1.50 more on Skip the dishes it seems than ordering directly from the website!) What a joke! We sat down during very busy hours over the weekend and expected slow service. We were taken by surprise! The servers were... extremely friendly and quickly took our orders. The drinks were brought immediately and the food came within 20 minutes (a verylarge order as there were 8 of us!). The food was exceptional and were very pleased with the prices. It takes alot of disappointment for me to write a negative review but I am giving this restaurant 2 stars because of the nice... employee who answered my call. I came to this location for a pick-up order due to our movie night because it?s close to home butI always had the best experience at the NE location. We ordered a gluten-free pizza and the pineapple topping we paid extra forwere missing! I called the restaurant just to let them know, not expecting anything just a feedback to help out the business.Someone really nice had said she was going to replace my pizza till she transferred the call to her manager SAM. She said thatshe can only give us $2.50 credit after her employee already had offered me a free replacement! What a slap in my face! Sam wasvery rude when I was giving her a constructive criticism! Your employee was better in customer service compare to Sam as amanager! That was more disappointing to me than your missing topping I paid for. You should change this before you lose morecustomers! Absolutely love the pizza here. The crust is still cooked throughout, crispy on the bottom and great. The pauls special is... loaded and full of flavor. We come here often and will continue too.
