By far THE best ice cream I?ve had in Calgary, and I love ice cream. Born and raised here I usually lean towards McKay?s ice... cream in Cochrane, but I have to say these guys surpassed them in quality and a more cost effective price. It?s made locally,and the staff are super friendly! The scoops are very generous as well. The last several months I?ve been bringing everyonehere, which I only do for a few places in town if it?s that good. Biggest scoops (literally two scoops make up for 1/2 of my face), friendliest staff, and very unique and DELICIOUS flavours.... They are made so so well. We have been coming here every week for the last five months (or so my camera roll tells me). Prettysure it?s been way longer. Village and Made by Marcus can?t compare in terms of value. Every time I visit other places I?msecretly a bit disappointed and regretful as Parlour is the indomitable King of ice cream. In hindsight, this review is longoverdue. I?ve been lazy. Sorry, folks. If you happen to be strolling at St. Patrick Island sir East Village, this is the only ice cream shop you need to visit if... you?re looking for that sweet tooth fix! What an amazing place to have ice cream. This going to be our go to for deserts. Really impressed by the guys work here. I had... non diary salted caramel. The best I cream in town so far. First of all, the staff at Parlour ice cream were some of the kindest people I have met! They were very welcoming and... knowledgeable about there products. They let me try multiple flavours (literally have so many yummy unique flavours) until Ilanded on my pick of Easter Mini Egg. The ice cream itself is delicious and you definitely tell it was hand crafted ! Also theproducts are reasonable priced unlike some other handcrafted ice places in Calgary.
