I did it! I found the best Schwarma Shop in Calgary. I give six stars out of five so I don?t have to down regulate all the other... good schwarmas in the city. I?ve been here twice now and met the manager, Inder both times. He is very polite, attentive, eagerand friendly. I asked a bunch of questions and he answered them all patiently. Both times I ordered a mix beef/schwarma wrapwith a little lettuce, reg tomatoes, extra onion and a couple pickles; medium hot sauce with sweet garlic sauce. The first fewbites with no sauce, I found the meat incredibly juicy and tender with the most amazing spice combo. It?s good all on its ownwith no sauce or spice. The garlic is subtle with a perfect (relative) amount of sweetness. They make their own hot sauces and Igotta say the medium was a true medium. Not too spicy with a little taste to it. I also ordered an Osmow?s special. It?s like a?Montfort Chicken? if you ever graced ?Montfort Mediterranean Cuisine? in Oakville, ON. It?s a pita wrap with chicken andpineapple. I ordered it with a little lettuce, extra onions and extra garlic sauce. Oh my, this is the best sandwich ever! Theplace is set up with a good flow, nice lighting and colours. I went there with my family for a dinner night out. Absolutely amazing. It was your first time going, so we decided to put the... hot sauce on the side. Furthermore, we ordered a lot of food since I was scared it wasn't going to be filling, however I wasvery wrong. We had to bring some much food home, for some leftovers that we ate the next morning. The service was pleasant,welcoming and very professional. The food came fast, delicious and filling. It was my first time going and I will definitelycome. One of the best shawarma in Calgary. Husband and I tried osmows the first time a few weeks ago and it was disappointing, soggy and disgusting. Today coworkers were... ordering and they said to give it 1 more try as they were probably having a bad day. Tried it again today and it was stillhorrible. Ordered the beef platter. It was mostly ALL fried onions and a little bit of beef. But of course they cover it with somuch sauce to mask everything. There is no flavor other then the taste of the onions and sauce. $26 out the window for a mealthat was thrown out. I am definitely in love with their chicken poutine woow. Delicious and done just right.Be very carefully they are not asking... about the spice level for fun I had medium because I like to taste everything and enjoy it.Their hot is literally hot and itshould not be a surprise. Customer serves is great very polite and very friendly.Asked me questions before assumptions and madeit just the way I asked them to make it. I got large and if you the pictures below this was all I could eat.If I had a littlemore space I might have taken a few more bites. Worst Shawarma I've ever had. Should have gone to Shawarma palace but the line up was 8 people deep outside the restaurant. I... paid $36 ,INCLUDING TIP, for a lamb platter and lamb wrap with a very small amount of meat!!!!! Almost no toppings, and theGreek salad was terrible. It all went straight into the garbage, I've never been so disappointed. First time trying the foodfrom Osmows, and I will never be back.
