It?s my first breakfast in Calgary. I found this restaurant from some guide websites and they all recommended it. So, let?s try!... I went there quite late, around 11 and it?d passed breakfast rush hours. But still busy. Luckily there were some tables outsideand I don?t care about the sun. The service was very good. Very nice and sweet. I ordered the duck dish which is fantastic. Themeat was very tasty and the potato was very crispy. You can substitute the 1/2 portion of potato to spinach or asparagus.Anyways, everything is good. Highly recommend this place! Read more
Really yummy spot! Showed up around 12:30 PM on a Saturday. They were packed but managed to squeeze us in (as we were only 2).... We ordered one of the poutine dishes and the Canadian Benedict. Both were delicious, although I thought the poutine was better!Our only qualm was that the eggs were cooked inconsistently, but not a huge deal. Took my family for breakfast and everyone enjoyed it. Not a thing on the menu that disappoints. Gets busy if you go between 9-10... (weekends) so be sure to plan ahead and check the wait list which you can easily add yourself too. Sausages with blueberrieswere delicious!! Read more
We googled "best breakfast in Calgary," and OEB didn't disappoint. This place is really cool. The food was first class, the... service was quick and very friendly, and the drinks were splendid. I definitely would recommend this place, and we'll be back onour next trip to Calgary. Read more
Usually breakfast/brunch spots are really not my thing, but OEB stood out of the lot. They have a very interesting and... innovative menu featuring really fresh ingredients. The service was quick and friendly, the portions were big and the priceswere reasonable. I really enjoyed the fact that they have lots of items to suit all palates and dietary restrictions (lots ofgluten free and vegan stuff). Definitely worth the visit even for non breakfast items. Tried out OEB what a great place for breakfast it?s not my first time in Calgary but I?m not always in the city centre staff... were great super helpful and friendly very easy going and laid back atmosphere which is nice they do pride themselves in usingas much local produce as possible that?s what caught my eye and we decided to go here i went for a omelette style breakfast mypartner went traditional. The service is good, I did order a raspberry lemonade and it's not on their menu but it was delicious. I think you should add it... as another lemonade flavour. The food is amazing especially their chilaquiles. Price matches the quality of the food. If you'reinto brunch, give this a try. Read more
Every time I come to OEB I try something different and I've never had a bad breakfast! The service at OEB is always good. Join... the Yelp line before you leave home and chances are your table will be ready when you get there. The ETA for a table is alwaysshorter than what the website quotes you which is excellent. On my recent visit I tried the French Toast Trifle which wasamazing. Plating was perfection and the taste let me wanting another plate! Read more
