The Neptune Veal with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a starter house salad were delicious. The salad dressing is nice and... garlicky. The gravy flavor is excellent and complements the potatoes well. The hollandaise sauce is a little different thanothers I have had before because it was a bit more citrusy, but that paired very well with the veal and shrimp. Read more

The ribeye steak was cooked exactly how I asked, great quality meat so tender! We also tried the Petros special pizza which had... a great crust, generously topped, not your average restuarant pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and the owner was very friendly andinvolved, walking around and talked to us. We also saw Nick, from the sign! You'll know when you see him! It was a very disappointing dinner. I ordered the fish and chips and it was terrible. The fish was literally all batter the... fries were soggy and cold. On a positive note the Caesar salad, garlic toast and calamari were delicious! I will most definitelybe back to try other items on the menu. The customer service was outstanding. $$$ Read more

Nick's is my favourite place to go for a dinner with friends or family. They have an amazing selection of food (pizza, pastas,... chicken, veal, steak, etc..) and are great for so many different occasions. I also love the "70's vibe"! They are located rightoff of Crowchild and Banff Trail, across from the football stadium. They have an overflow parking lot available, which is alsogreat for trucks. My most recent visit was with my mom and husband. We all decided to order the steak special, which came witha side of baked mussels. With the rising cost of beef, Nick's is one of the best places you can go in the city for a decentlypriced, delicious steak - and you really get your money's worth! Each entree comes with salad and garlic toast, as well aspotato or rice and a vegetable. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delivered to our table in a decent amountof time, piping hot. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was so tender and juicy. And the mussels - wow! I had nevertried baked mussels of that style before. They were baked in a creamy tomato sauce with chunks of tomato and onion, and cheesebaked on top to finish it all off. It was almost like eating pizza on top of mussels. The portion sizes were so generous thatwe couldn't finish it all. We also ordered a margarita and moscow mule from the drink menu, and both were excellent! It'salways a busy place, so I recommend calling ahead for reservations! I had the best experience at Nick?s! Since I got back from my trip to Calgary I have recommended this place to all my friends... and family. All the staff were very welcoming and kind. The food was exceptional! We ordered the Baby back ribs, chickentetrazzini and a pizza. All the food was delicious and I would go back in heartbeat. The owner Nick, sits at a table near thefront and engages with all the customers and his staff. On our way out he thanked us for coming! I wish I could give this place10 stars. Highly recommend!
