Horrible place to have any kind of party. We started with bowling which was nice. There were about 30 of us there for a... Christmas party. The appetizers were delicious (minus the uncooked Buffalo wings) and the waitresses were great. Then we wentupstairs to the ?bourbon room?. The music was super loud but the servers were great. Dinner was plain but delicious. Then 9o?clock rolls around, the music gets louder and a server came and told us ?our table was booked so we had to move? no problem wehad another table to sit at. Well sure enough, 10 o?clock rolls around and we were kicked out of those seats too. Then 10:30some of our guests were kicked out of their seats. Upon speaking with management they said we shouldn?t have ever been movedfrom our tables and it was just the servers seating their friends. A group that was friends with some of our party was also asked to leave their table but it was downstairs and no one else sat there after. Seems every body goes upstairs and turns the?bourbon room? into a club. We left feeling unheard and mad. I definitely would not suggest booking any type of party at thisvenue, there are way better places to have a party. If the servers before 9 weren?t so attentive then I would?ve definitelygiven this less then a one star review. Read more
Be very careful with your bill. Recently I went with a friend and after paying my bill with one bartender, another came over and... charged me a second time. I told them that I?d already paid but after several back and forths I decided to just pay and leave.Another friend of mine had mentioned something similar had happened to him as well. It was only $50 so not entirely worth thehassle but be aware. Other than that the pizza is pretty good and the drinks were alright as well. Read more
We were there on Saturday evening with a large birthday party and our waitress, March, went above and beyond for our group (15+... people). She helped us pull an extra table when we needed it, remembered everyone?s name and drinks, and kept all the billssuper organized. She was so friendly and professional, and was one of the best waitresses I?ve ever seen. Although it was a busynight, she kept her cool and made everything so smooth for us, and with a huge group! Plus she did it solo, we never had anyother server come by to check on us. She was the absolute bomb and deserves to have her amazing hard work and attituderecognized! Thanks March! This place is really big and has lots of room for lots of people. Was here for a work outing for Lunch + Bowling recently. The... servers were all very friendly and attentive and always came back to check on us and asked if we needed anything else. The Foodwas served hot and was very good. The Sliders and Taters and Burgers + Fries we had were amazing. Good portions. Everyone superfull and satisfied. ????. Bowling was a lot of fun after as well, although their shoes were a little worn out and they wererunning out of size 7s for my coworkers haha. Great place for hanging out with friends and play bowling. Drinks were also good. Staff were helpful and nice.
I came here today with a group of 15 people. We were here for brunch and bowling. Everyone's breakfast was good, mine including... except when I asked for the eggs benny with a sausage patty instead of ham the patty was over cooked and burnt which was hard toeat. I won't order that again. Bowling was fun although the time for the free hour was set before we even started playing so welost out on some play time. All and all we had a good time and will be back. 1 of the great places to go bowling, hang out with friends and nightclubbing. The ambience is a VIBE, service is good, staff are... friendly, and generally it is a wonderful place to hang out. But there is a really long line to get in at night. If you arelooking for where to hang out with friends in downtown Calgary, this place is 1 of the places to be! Read more
In overall just 2 Stars (mostly for the atmosphere). The prices for bowling are quite high (half an hour 30$). And unless you... are a quick player you can do just 1 round. After we done with bowling, we sat at the lane 10 minutes to finish our beers. Butthe staff had other plans and positioned new guests on the lane even though in the whole bar were 7 lanes free. We had tobottoms up our beers and left. Definitely not coming back. Read more
