Gave this place quite a few chances. The service is TERRIBLE. The food is okay but the staff are rude and lazy. The people in... the back look busy but the front of house staff just stand around with their arms crossed, are short with customers and somehowthey messed up our orders multiple times. They don?t seem to care if they are helpful or if they do their job well. I rarelywrite reviews but this place needs improvement! Could be a lot better! Read more

I got a vermicelli bowl that costed 20 dollars for a bowl and drink. It was tiny and the meat was anything but lean, super big... chunks of fat. Don?t recommend. Will not be going back. The subs I know are good but vermicelli and pho is some of the worst inthe city. Rating 3/10 Forgot to note no refills ???? Read more

Amazing beef Banh mi sub, for those strolling around Calgary Downtown this place is highly recommended if you?re in the lookout... to try some Asian food. The flavor just burst in your mouth, it was really good that I had to repeat the order in one sitting! Read more

We came today at the chinook mall Nam and ordered a satay chicken pho. When we first got there it looked like the store was... closing but they said they still serve any pho. So we ordered it and then realized that it was missing basil and sprouts. Whenwe went back to the teller she said they don?t have basil anymore and they ran out of sprouts. Why is it still being advertisedlike that and also not let us know they are missing ingredients. No other options other than a blank look and that?s it. We arenot happy and would have ordered something else had we known this. I watched the store and at 8:30 they closed up and left eventhough the food court was open till 9. I sent this summary to the owners of Nam before posting here and did not get a reply. Read more

Terrible. Got some salad rolls and they were dry and stuck together and filled with mystery meat that was supposed to be beef,... but didn?t taste like it. Didn?t risk the peanut sauce because it looked like bbq sauce that had been left out too long and wasa strange dark brown, almost black color. Got a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was undrinkable because it was horribly bitter. Ilove strong coffee, but this was just weirdly bitter. It was the only thing I had had to eat so far that day and by the time Igot home I developed some nasty stomach cramps and was in and out of the bathroom for the next 4 hrs. Read more

Yay Vietnamese cuisine at the food court and they have vegetarian options. The tofu salad rolls and the tofu Vietnamese sub... made me do the happy dance. So good! Sorry there is 3 rolls I ate one before taking this picture. Read more

Very flavourful Vietnamese pho! I ordered the chicken satay and it had the perfect amount of spice. Spring rolls were very... good and the Vietnamese coffees were on par. Price a little high for pho, but probably reflects the high rent at Chinook. Overall recommend and will be back. Read more
