Just "Ok" Ribs flavor was good but very tough to eat. Mashed potatoes seemed like they were reconstituted from... flakes(boxed) Cornbread was dry :( Coleslaw was the best part of the meal... And it was literally just coleslaw. I would expectthis quality of food from a McDonald's, not a sit-down restaurant with servers and larger bills. Great service, good decor, pricing is fair.. The food is good. Just good. The kids ‘Alfredo’ was quite runny and soaked in... butter or the like. My husband enjoyed his brisket burger. The buttermilk dill dressing is awful. It’s watery and pepperytasting. The dill flavour is more of an after thought. Read more
This was a 1015 pm, random decision, and was incredible. Got there and they were almost wrapped up for the night and my order... was just about done. Exceptional food, pleasant staff, and best of all hot. Thanks Montana's for providing an exceptionaldining experience in and out of your restaurant. My husband and I went to Montana's yesterday for dinner. It was our first time visiting because he really wanted ribs and we... live very close to this location. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. My husband tried all 4 rib sauces andsaid they were all really good. I had the 7oz. steak and it was cooked perfectly. A perfect example of a restaurant with front-end staff that don’t care. Makes you wonder if the cooks are the same!! It was... about 7pm and the dinner rush was pretty much gone. My 3-year old accidentally tipped over his near full glass of apple juicespilling most on the table and some onto the floor. Luckily, our waitress delivered a stack of napkins with our drink order sowe could clean up. 5 waitresses walked past our table as we mopped up the mess and not 1 bothered to help or bring a cleaningtowel. Add to that, another table empty of patrons but full of dirty dishes had also spilled a drink on the floor leaving alarge puddle. The staff moving about simply splashed through the puddle spreading it in all directions while I readied my camerain anticipation of the AFV moment that never came. We never did get our sticky table properly cleaned nor did the spill on thefloor. Comparable to a restaurant with folding chairs/tables and a tent for a roof but the prices of a nice place. I certainlywill never return or risk my money on any of the other locations. And I would advise everyone to do the same. It’s not fair topay a premium and be treated like a fast food restaurant. Your typical lodge cabin setting with Canadian decor. It screams rustic and it's a fantastic place for bringing anyone visiting... Canada for the first time. This location specifically is good, portions are generous, service is great, food is well seasoned.Skip on dessert though, overly sweet. Dedicated staff that cleans a lot and does provide quality service when it's not superbusy. Read more
After being a waitress for many years, I get the struggle but tonight was unexpectedly horrid... waited for 5 mins to get... drinks, forgot our appetizers. Food came out cold and our parties order was not all together. We had no cutlery...had to ask,had to ask for drink refills. Waitress didn't check on food in a timely manner. Food quality was not normal standards.Complained to manager. Gave us the standard 25% off bill. Waitress asked if she could bring us bill before my daughter was doneeating and said in a way that pretty much indicated hurry up and get out...Worst part 5 tables around us all had same issues.Will NEVER eat at this location again..
