Visited twice on a recent trip to Calgary and had a K-dog each time. My favourite was the Buldak Half and Half rolled in... potatoes (stuffed with half cheese, half hot dog), but there are lots of options to choose from starting around $5. Importantto know — if you want to eat in, you have to order off the main menu, not the K-dogs, which are to-go only. Read more

Famous for spicy tteokbokki, and is my favorite place. It is quite expensive compared to the amount. Corn dog a.k.a hotdog is... also expensive and they charge extra for the sauce. It is great place to try if you are a fan of tteokbokki, but wouldn’trecommend to go often. I maybe unlucky, but every time i visit, taste is different. Read more

Meshi has become one of my favourite after school places for awhile now. Loveee their spicy rice cakes, wouldn’t get them... anywhere else to be honest! They recently have added different spice levels to their menu as well, I would recommend mild forthe perfect amount of spice- orrrr you could do super spicy for the challenge! (*???)? The corn dogs were amazing; the service was lovely! Buyer beware when they tell you a dish is hot and spicy; they really mean... it and I ain't talking about no light spice, this is a spice that makes you question life choices. My mouth just about died from how spicy the rosé rice cakes were but they were so tasty it was worth it. The corn dogs were... interestingly chewy (I liked the original version best). Didn’t think anything special of the sushi. Read more
