I have no idea why this location has such negative reviews, it?s my absolute favourite McDonald?s in Calgary (and I?ve been to a... lot of McDonalds? - call me a McDonald?s connoisseur, if you will). I went to this location in the morning around 7, and had a really bad experience. There was a huge lineup in the lobby and saw... only 3 people working in the McDonalds. Anyway, I ordered my food which is simply a meal with a coffee but had to wait 20-25mins which is totally unacceptable. I saw one guy there who is continuously using his phone and maybe one lady in the kitchendoing something with the boxes and simply ignoring the orders however I think making orders are their priority. There is onlyone tall girl running here and there because both it was really busy time with huge lineup. Never going to visit this placeagain. Read more
Ordered medium smoothie at kiosk today, receipt showed small and lady have me a small which is fine. I asked her if I can... change it to a medium because it is also $2 for both small and medium same price. She said no and you have to pay extra. My son and I stopped in at this location at around 1pm on Saturday July 9th, 2022 for some grub before shopping. The food was... hot and fresh and tasted pretty good. My son ordered hot cakes. When the order was ready a young African Canadian Girl gave usour tray at the counter. I didn't get her name. There was no knife/fork, no butter and no syrup on the tray. My son had to goback and ask another employee for these essential items to eating pancakes. Normally you would think that an employee wouldhave enough common sense to know these items are necessary without too much training. I think Management could review with herwhat is expected when presenting trays to customers as the pass counter. What items need to be there. I only mentioned herethnicity so that Management may be able to identify her to help improve her performance. Its irritating for customers to haveto babysit there orders for missing items. Read more
I went through the East Hills drive thru at approx. 11:45pm. We order a Big Mac with no lettuce and a Quarter BLT on a seedless... bun. The woman who took our order tried to tell us that we couldn't have the seedless bun. ?? Seriously?! The Big Mac must'vehad at least a cup of sauce on it. It was such a mess you couldn't pick it up. The BLT was basically a cheeseburger made with aquarter pound patty. No bacon, lettuce or tomato. When we called we were told that the kitchen person was new. Ummm. So who'ssupervising them?! The customer service this morning was horrible, the lady taking our order was barely talking and before we could finish our... order she told us next window and removed our order from the screen to review our order. And once we arrived to the window topay we asked if they she could repeat our order because she was so quick to get over and done with our order. She scolded ustelling us to check the order and it is our duty to, but how could we when she removed it from the screen so quickly. We ordered3 bagels with cream cheese and once received there was not a single drop of cream cheese in any of them. Absolutelydisappointed. Never coming back again. Read more
