My husband brought home almond croissants from an unknown place one day. From the layering and flakiness I knew it was from a... legitimate bakery that knew e what they were doing! One week later, he surprised me with breakfast on my birthday with Belgianwaffles purchased frozen from Manuel Latruwe and warmed up at home. He got them the same time he purchased the croissants. Theywere delicious, and I finally found out where the delicious croissants were from. I visited for the first time today and lovedthe selection of different pastries and desserts. The Merveilleux was true to its name and was lovely, light and tasty! Alwayshappy to find more bakeries and cafes in this city, and I?m glad there?s another one I can visit. This bakery is consistently making delicious pastries! Today we had the mango passion fruit cake called exotic and it was just... perfect for the super birthday party! Just the right amount of sweetness and tarty passion fruit. The kids also loved it becauseof its smooth texture. I also love the rest of their cake variety and miss the tonka cake. Read more
Absolutely love the pastries and croissants here! There's also a great selection so I'm sure there's something for everyone. The... staff is also always super friendly! That being said, this place is more expensive than a lot of other bakeries I've been to inCalgary, but it is good quality and I will keep coming whenever I feel like splurging. Read more
We order the Georgia cake. Possibly the best cake I've ever had in my life. Its was a piece of art. I wish I took a picture of... it too. Tried the bake at home almond croissants...OMG amazing! Came in after 3:00 and there was literally nothing left on the shelves,... but lots of frozen options. Will visit earlier next time, which will be soon! Read more
