Came here for lunch and ordered the covid-19 special platter. One of each of the curry chicken and beef Rendang curry. Didn't... expect such a big serving, didn't end up finishing it and took it to go. Also ordered a Roti with Rendang curry as an appetizer,the roti was fluffy buttery and delicious. The restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza surrounded by industrial buildings soit's easy to miss it if you weren't looking. For a Malaysian far away from home, Mamak Dang is the next best thing. I've been coming here since 2018 and will keep returning... for my favorite laksa and kolo mee. My partner has been eyeing this place 2 years ago since we drove past this place. It never came to mind as we seldom come to... this area. Today, I was craving Laksa and we decided to give this place a try. We had the chicken skewers with peanut sauce(dark juicy meat ????), the Redang beef Laksa and the Special Laksa (small size). They were all very good but I have to notethat for the Laksa, the order will come with vermicelli only unless you request to have half vermicelli and half the thickernoodles. Most of the Laksa noodles we have tried in the past came always came with two noodles so make sure you put the requestin. I think if we had both the noodles, it will give it more texture. The special comes with fish ball , fish cake , beef/porkball, shrimp, mussel and egg. Soup was delicious and I only pick level 2 spicy ????????and it is definitely spicy for me. If youcan?t handle spice I would advise just go for 0 or 1 ????. I would come back and try more dishes here.
